Self-portrait - Taste - mixmedia on sketchbook - I would like not to let myself be afflicted by the influences of the past, even when they return forcefully, by the panic they create in me, by the pain that still manages to seduce me in such an attractive way.
I would like to fight for myself because every time I have done it I have never regretted it, not even when I failed. But I would also like to give myself the rest to sit back and not have to overdo it: to sit and savor what is there, and also savor nothing if necessary.

With our adorable Shiba, Kaiju, as my inspiration, I've started working on initial sketches.
The next step is to determine the perfect color palette before beginning the actual painting.
Though I typically prefer to work with oil paints, it's been a considerable time since I last indulged in painting.
So, I've decided to use acrylics this time around. I'm thrilled to start this new painting!

This digital artwork has been meticulously crafted using industry-standard tools such as Autodesk Sketch and Photoshop. It beautifully showcases the cultural richness and diversity of the black community.
This was a gift for a special colleague who had already worked at my school for more than 20 years. I painted her with gouache and especially her blond hair gave me a headache. I‘ve never worked with this paint before. In the background I used special paper, charcoal and acrylic markers. Inside the card is a poem about her.
Working on some secret commissions, so here is a throwback for one of my favorite portraits from last year, such a beautiful cat.
