Starting this past winter I began redoing some of my old artwork. This one was painted about 15 years ago--is quite pale. Soon I'll be brightening it, adding more value contrast. After each redo is done, I choose the next. Anyone else out there do redos? I'd love to hear about your experiences.

This is my first full landscape project that I painted for a skillshare course. It was frustrating at times but I really enjoyed working through the multiple steps of this painting. I wanted to see what I could do it I pushed myself and I am happy with the final painting. I need to focus some more study on trees in the future, I like how the foreground tree came out, the forest edge was much more difficult. A dragon I designed and sculpted, took many many hours to complete but super happy with the outcome. Sculpted using polymer clay, painted with acrylic gouache and coated with varnish.

While hiking, I saw a crow so I painted the crow's personality

Acrylic on river rock. Believe it or not, except for the sun, I only painted over lines that were naturally in the rock...you can even faintly see the outline of another saguaro to the right of the shadowed one!

I used to sketch in my car much more often. I'd go downtown and quick sketch people, scenes--whatever moved the spirit. With this sketch, I got the idea for a series...a what if ordinary moments in life were done in Picasso fashion. In this case, it was a Dad with his two kids. I never pursued the idea any further than a handful of quick sketches, but I wonder, what if I painted Dad with two kids Picasso style? It's still on my bucket list. What about you? What's on your bucket list regarding art ideas, projects?

Here's the original description for the submission: Future you calling is a group that mixes electronic pop and rock with some vintage and retro vibes thrown in the mix. To Whom It May Concern is their newest album. It's like that strange record that you once found on the slightly shady flea market that closed down after one month. You wish you had bought it back then, so now is your chance to repair the damage and get this album instead. It's almost the same. We promise. (Future you calling is an invented band. I'm not musically skilled enough to make the band reality but I can always imagine how their albums would look like if existed. At a street corner, I painted a magnificent Bougainvillea flame.

"The painting ""The Girl in a Shirt"" is one of the paintings series ""Her"".The artwork is painted in oil on canvas with wide textured strokes of a brush and a palette knife. In the work, we can see the opposition of a gentle female image and deliberately careless aggressive rough strokes of paint. The artist plays of black and white hard contrast against delicate pastel colors. The girl depicted in the painting feels constrained by external conditions, which prevents this painting from having an erotic value. The girl nervously tries to unbutton her shirt in order to get more air and freedom. Her pose is not balanced, which shows even more uncertainty and indecision. That's why this artwork is considered rather dramatic."

Wanhoop (Eng: despair) is a work I made last August/September. It's clay which was baked and afterwards painted with acryl and coated with some transparant nailpolish. To me it symbolises the depth of my depression. Despair.

Oops, I painted the wrong tree at the park. A lot was happening! I meant to paint the other rainbow cloud-like tree.

I painted these watercolor florals a few months ago. I love both color pallets, which I used - on the left side cold colors: blue and gray, and on the right side, some warm green and pastel rose.

I painted this in the wild nature forest of a one-block city park. Maybe it's a deer, maybe it's a: "Pink Panther"

my first *official* painting titled "Winter Solace". I painted this one of my OC when I was feeling down. We all know how it feels during the winter months... dark, gloomy, and a good portion of us suffer from seasonal depression. But sometimes, we just have to take it in and be thankful for how far we've come, and how much we have yet to experience. I painted this to remind myself and others that there's always the calm after the storm, no matter how intense your storm may be. It's okay to not be okay.

On December 2017, after my frineds and I exhanged gifts, we thought "why don't we do it next year?? Valentine's Day!" So in January 2018, we got our picks and our theme was "Something Effort" since it's important in every relationship. Since then I started making this, every day I would add some details. I was lucky to know that the one I picked likes Game of Thrones so there. Made with air dry clay then painted with acrylic paint.
