Zelfmedelijden is Dutch for Self-pity. The person is drowning in their own self-pity. They are depressed and poison themselves with their pity. It hurts, but is hard to stop. Addicted to pain. September 2019, acrylics on canvas

This started as something I was doing for fun, but turned into a very strenuous exercise on how to work with this many light sources.

Grey skies bring out beautiful greens

This is my first full landscape project that I painted for a skillshare course. It was frustrating at times but I really enjoyed working through the multiple steps of this painting. I wanted to see what I could do it I pushed myself and I am happy with the final painting. I need to focus some more study on trees in the future, I like how the foreground tree came out, the forest edge was much more difficult. The Little Mermaid Fanart

This was painted shortly after the peregrine painting. The peregrine was given to a raffle, and the winner of that painting purchased this one when it was finished.
