Offsetting the pattern by one square changes how it meets at the corners as you can see in this drawing

I painted recently a little castle for a wedding invitation, in watercolor and pigma micron pens. I'm now thinking about creating a fabric pattern on the theme of castle and royal gardens

For the love of pebbles.

For me, it's the process of creating - not really the end result. Once something is done, it's done and you move on to the next process. Life is the ultimate process after all. We don't hang around and admire the dead body once it has finished what it needed to do...On the other hand, the end result of someone's process can be felt through what they have left behind. I hope this is what will eventually happen with the art I create.

This was supposed to be for a fabric pattern, but it looks much better on a screen.

I really like this pattern, created isolated elements and then decided to put them all together and see what happen...I enjoyed the colors so I made a pattern :)

It's ok to not make sense. It's ok to not follow a pattern. It's ok to be the odd one out. Life is too beautiful, too amazing, to eccentric, too weird to fit inside someone else's tiny little box of an opinion about you. Break free out of that and live your life on your terms.

i divided the page into 8 sections and i filled each section with a different pattern.very satisfying.

I got the idea from Julia hill so thanks to her and I just came up with a different name you can also call these scribbledibbles
