Ever heard of Malaysia’s Batik? this is my doodle version of batik. A combination of floral patterns

I have been really enjoying this motif lately of mixing geometric shapes and linework with the fluidity of watercolor.

Pattern play

Club XXS was exposed at a music festival in the netherlands and used as a mini club, with dj booth inside and a line-up! :) It's my biggest doodle till now and it was amazing fun to do! my focus was allready on trying bigger stuff, so then a chance came by to do this huge caravan. Awesome.

This sketchbook spread features a stylized pattern of colorful poppy flowers. The garden of flowers includes leaves of green, yellow and peach. The flowers are yellow with blue stems. The drawing as a whole has a whimsical and playful feel with a bright color scheme, polka dots and organic squiggle shapes, and blobs of seemingly random colors. A poster I made based on an Inktober sketch (day 8) where I made a small pattern of macarons. I had a lot of fun thinking of flavour combinations for the macarons! I'm selling the poster (and other products, such as mugs and t-shirts) on my Society6 and Red Bubble stores.
