A drawing which required some sharpening of a mechanical pencil. Just to get that needle-sharp drawing tool. I'm not the only one doing this, right?

I felt like drawing birdhouses and this came out in my large Moleskine.

"I take a step outside and I breathe the air, and I slam the door, and I'm on my way. I won't lay no blame, I won't call you names. Although I'm a bit late, May 1st was Decision Day (congrats to everyone in the class of 2021!), and I'm proud to say I'll be a Blue Demon this fall (a very sciencey one at that).

I am half way through my sixth decade, and I still like cute animals. This guy is the quintessential cute pet from so many of our childhoods.

This is a memorial piece for my dog, Gripper. I’m very happy with how it turned out.

A 45 minute drawing of some old tombstones. Done in pencil, graphite powder, charcoal powder and used a kneaded eraser to create effect, also edited digitally.

Some LGBTQ+ members of the community can’t openly love who they want to love, so the bars represent that barrier. The fabric, with all its complex folds and creases represents sensuality, desire and love. Love, in all its forms is a complex thing of beauty.------------- The companion piece to my previous post ‘Ecstasy.’ Agony and Ecstasy were always meant to be a diptych. The issue for me is that there is a two-year gap between the completion of the two - there is a noticeable difference in the the way both were drawn.
