This watercolour painting was inspired by another artists brilliant work (I'm afraid I don't know the name). Absolutely loved doing this piece. My mother asks why I always do sad paintings and thinks I should do more happy ones. What do you think? Comment Below
A working page for a book i am developing about vampires. i starts with a raw ink sketch, gets scanned and i work them up on a xp pen tablet - but this is just experimental - and not final.
For the past two months ive been participating on the #drawthisinyourstyle challege at instagram. Here are some of the ones i made. Many more on my instagram account @mjdaluz_illustration
Illustration painted with watercolors and outlined with pink pen. The borders were achieved with washi tape (low tack and unlikely to tear up your paper.)
I think I might've gone overboard with this cat armor! I couldn't help but make it pink/magenta; I would think that color would make a wonderful armor color! :D Check out my IG @dittofunkysketch123 for up-to-date (completed!) Inktober posts!
First post on here and I didn't mean for it to be political! But this is probably one of the pieces that I'm most proud of in their use of bold colours. And I've not really been able to recreate it since.
Frog, moon and stars! Another one inspired by @moonchildillustrations and her #moontoberweekends prompt, this one combines two of them.
Fortunately, I had to search for really cute pictures of frogs with their mouths open.
By the way, what kind of music do you think the flies are dancing to? : .
