This is my first plant abstract in over six months because college takes up all my time during the school year now. This one was supposed to be more pastel, but the scanner washed out some of the lighter colors.

This doodle is named for what it's painted on. I had a theory that Cheerio box cardboard would take well to watercolors, and I was right! She took from the earth a herb with five sprouts and, without breaking either root or branch, carried it home and wrapped it in a blanket and placed it on her pillow. A doodle I did in my junior year Calculus class.

Plantain, Plantago major, was considered to be one of the nine sacred herbs by the ancient Saxon people, and has been celebrated in Anglo-Saxon poetry as the "mother of herbs." In Russian this plant is called Подорожник - meaning near the roads. Native Americans called it "white man's foot" as it is often found growing along well-trodden foot paths and it was brought to the Americas from Europe. The Latin generic name means "sole of the foot." When I was a kid, we would use the leaves of this plant for small hurts and scratches. Clemence's and Calamity's 130 year old grandma,candy people are known to age slower than other food people and often appear younger than they look.all three of them live with each other in harmony Grandma loves jokes but she is often forgetful but at the same time she can be silly and wise.Food people can live up to be 150 except for fruit and vegetable people since they age very quick while plant people live to 200 and object people live to be 100,Grandma has named her mobility chair Rodster since she tends to go very quickly on her chair especially when going out in public,Calamity painted a lightning bolt on Rodster on both sides.

Another house that I found interesting, this one is across from the library in my local town. I love drawing all the vegetation detail - how the buildings decay and are slowly taken over by plants.
