my first ever piece of art i sold was this piece, i think around 2012 when i started going into more illustrative based work. its great to look back and see the progression and level i have progressed. i remember thinking this was the best i could do but now if i did something on the same level i wouldnt be so happy. i got a lot of good feedback off this piece and do plan on recreating it one day :))...
Being autistic and neurodivergent means I’m liable to mishear things quite a bit, especially when watching films where the sound mixing is utter shite (thanks sensory differences!). On that note, there’s a bit towards the end of Alien where Parker shouts “get out of the room” which I always interpreted as “get ready to roll” for years on end. Only recently did I realise how wrong I was!
Considering it was the final act of the film, I guess I can’t be blamed for assuming as such, right? If you know, you know as they say...
Whenever I think of tags and/or labels for people, be it things like ‘gammons’ or ‘snowflakes’ et al, narrowing it down to a single person who represents that group is always running a fool’s errand in my opinion.

Gwenffrwd-Dinas is an RSPB nature reserve out in the wilds of mid-Wales. You could easily miss it driving past, but if you do park up, you're treated to some gorgeous scenery. Here the river Tywi (the longest in Wales) flows past the wooded riverbank then through a rocky gorge on its way down to Carmarthen. Pen and watercolour on watercolour paper (6x8").

Every couple of months, I turn a bunch of my doodles or rough mini sketches into stickers. I draw them directly onto sticker paper and seal them with bookbinding foil. These foxes will be Christmas presents.
Jung here. Done 2022 with Color pencils on 81/2 x 11 comicbook board backing. This is my character that i have created and it is part 2 of the original gas face that i had created. One day I went to my comic book shop and I was looking around and i saw this comicbook board backings,which is a bit larger than regular backings cuz it is for magazine size backing boards when I asked the worker at the comic book shop he said they are not selling those backings so I asked him can I have some and he said yes, so I used one of the backings on the backside to draw this character of mine,but I noticed as i was working on the piece the backing surface of the paper start to peel off and it was not durable at all. As you can see you will see some tiny peeled off spots of the paper in the artwork. Not a whole lot to discuss here except that it took me FRIGGIN FOREVER to get it at least THIS accurate. It is crazy how hard your brain wants to put everything in the wrong place first and then you have to ..correct it? I don't know if I am making any sense lol.
