Glaucomys sabrinus, northern flying squirrel has belly fur that is gray at the base. Flying squirrels might more appropriately be called “gliding squirrels” because they aren’t capable of true powered flight that a pterosaur, a bird or a bat can do. Kuwei... He's so underrated. Can we stop hating on him for kissing Jesper for one second to appreciate how naughty and charming an act that was? Like, he just smirked. He was like, "Yup, I just got Wylan mad at you and mad at himself for that and mad at me! Isn't it funny? You're a good kisser." Like that scene- that was amazing. Kuwei is amazing. Anyway, this was a little doodle of Kuwei as a solemn inferni. Little did I know that he would be setting fire to forests in KoS lol! Yup, I liked the surprise of "pretend I'm Wylan to kiss Jesper and set forests on fire at Os Alta" Kuwei better than this pensive Little Palace student, but I drew it and it came out okay, so here it is.

One morning a little old woman got up and went to the field containing her five cows. She took from the earth a herb with five sprouts and, without breaking either root or branch, carried it home and wrapped it in a blanket and placed it on her pillow. Then she went out again and sat down to milk her cows.
Suddenly she heard tambourine bells jingle and scissors fall, on account of which noise she upset the milk. Having run home and looked, she found that the plant was uninjured. Again she issued forth to milk the cows, and again thought she heard the tambourine bells jingle and scissors fall, and once more she spilled her milk.

Acrylic markers in mixed media sketchbook. This one is a bit rougher because my markers have medium sized nibs. I still enjoyed the process and the feel of the paint flowing onto the page.
