Here's the final color illustration created for Osprey Pens featuring the Osprey Pen Factory. It was drawn with the same fountain pen there on the right... An Osprey Milano 5.5 Flexpert Hourglass nib. Great pen! Colored in Photoshop.
This is a graphite pencil drawing of a hunting hawk somewhat loosely based on a photo. The reference photo is from: Birds of Prey by Paul D. Frost (Paragon Books Ltd 2006) and credited to Martin B Withers/FLPA. I found the book in the Goodwill a couple of month ago and was much inspired by the beautiful photographs.
Mixed media, colored pencils and Photoshop. Blue-gray Gnatcatchers (Polioptila caerulea) are a very small songbirds and are most frequently encountered in pinyon-juniper habitat but can be found in any low-elevation areas with an abundance of shrubs. It prey mainly on small insects. Main source: https://www.instagram.com/camilojulianc/
Impalla, Wart Hog and Topi is a strange painting of a young doll like female puppet head with large intimidating eyes. The scary doll head puppet looks like a frozen predator. Her expression almost ferrel but still oddly innocent at the same time. I chose the vintage storybook background based on the mottled rich tones of the paper itself and the fact that the title refers to prey and predators in Africa. It is an excerpt from an old African adventure story. I love the arresting expression and bright colours of this painting. She has great stopping power and evokes all kinds of emotions.

not sure why but was inspired by the #predator-prey relationship, between #fox_rabbit
And the 5th.
The lady at the left is a Scottish version of a vampire a Baobhan sith. They look almost like normal human women but have deer hoofs. They are allocated with faries so they are weak to iron.
Since they are women they love to prey on men. Interestingly enough in most stories men who are willing to cheat on their wife well.
The other two are Duke and Missi. They both belong to ChibiDonDC aka Daria Cohen.

A demon living in the sewers of Aachen. Hobs in the back of drunken man. If they beg or prey it gets heavier. If they curse the weight gets lesser. What this with Germany and demons that hob in the back of people?
A big fan of the Star Trek universe and was especially impressed with the final run of Picard. This is the new Enterprise in action, heavily damaged but winning a battle against a Klingon Bird of Prey. I wanted a unique angle and decided to flip the starship upside down. It's space; why not. Digitally painted in Rebelle 6 with watercolors, pen, and oil brushes, and meant to have a classic/watercolor feel. This is not AI nor is any part of this AI.
It is a disconcerting realization to understand that a fleeting moment of inattention can lead to catastrophic consequences particularly in the volatile realm of cryptocurrency. I had always prided myself on being astute and cautious with my digital assets but one fateful day I became ensnared in a sophisticated scam. The ordeal began with a direct message on Telegram from an individual masquerading as Trust Wallet Support. The message warned me of an urgent security update and appeared remarkably authentic complete with the Trust Wallet logo. Trusting my instincts I clicked the link without a moment's hesitation.Upon accessing the site I was prompted to enter my recovery phrase to verify my identity. In a moment of panic and confusion I complied believing I was taking necessary precautions to protect my assets. To my utter dismay within minutes my entire Trust Wallet balance was obliterated. Over $18,000 in Bitcoin and Ethereum vanished before my eyes. The gut-wrenching realization that I had unwittingly granted scammers unfettered access to my funds was overwhelming. In a state of desperation I began to scour the internet for crypto recovery services and stumbled upon Salvage Asset Recovery. Initially I was apprehensive; the internet is rife with fraudulent recovery services that prey on the vulnerable. However after conducting thorough research to verify their legitimacy I decided to reach out for assistance. The team at Salvage Asset Recovery proved to be nothing short of extraordinary. They sprang into action employing advanced blockchain forensics to meticulously trace my stolen funds across various wallets. Their expertise allowed them to identify the exchanges where the scammer had deposited my cryptocurrency and they worked diligently to compile compelling evidence of the theft. Thanks to their relentless efforts while not all of my funds could be recovered some had already been cashed out they successfully froze and retrieved $12,700 before it was too late. Although I still grapple with regret for falling victim to such an obvious scam I am profoundly grateful to Salvage Asset Recovery for their swift and effective intervention. I've been going through my sketches, both completed and incomplete, and found a drawing of a young Sumatran Tiger that I began working on around two years ago, but never completed. I'm actually relieved that I didn't draw it earlier, as it has allowed me to gain more experience in illustrating this stunning creature, which is unfortunately a species at risk of extinction.
A few facts about the Sumatran Tigers...
The Sumatran tiger Panthera tigris sumatrae*, the smallest tiger subspecies, is critically endangered and stands as the final surviving species of island tigers. Poaching poses a significant danger to Sumatran tigers as hunters target them for their skin, bones, and canines. Additionally, habitat loss caused by oil palm, coffee, and acacia plantations, further endangers these big cats by reducing their prey availability and pushing them closer to human habitations.
It is estimated that there are fewer than 400 mature individual tigers in Sumatra in isolated pockets of protected land. Three of the protected areas are classified as UNESCO World Heritage Sites but all are in danger of losing this status due to threats from poaching, illegal logging, agricultural encroachment, and planned road building. It is for these reasons the Sumatran tiger is classified in the most severe IUCN status: Critically endangered.
Description: The Sumatran tiger is the smallest and darkest tiger subspecies and tends to be more bearded and maned than the other subspecies. Male tigers can expect to reach somewhere in the region of 120kg and 8ft from head to tail vs females who average 91kg and 7ft length.
Breeding: Female tigers are sexually mature at about 3 or 4 years of age, and males at about 4 to 5 years. Mating may occur any time during the year, but it most frequently takes place from November to April. The information was obtained from conservewildcats.org. Thank you.

Mantid on a rose bud was done on Strathmore Bristol with Derwent Graphitint (tinted graphite) pencils. I love these insects and they are all over the rose bushes this time of year. I tried to capture her natural grace and beauty as she stepped down from her rose bud perch while eyeing her prey.
The Green Heron is one of the world’s few tool-using bird species. It often creates fishing lures with bread crusts, insects, and feathers, dropping them on the surface of the water to entice small fish.
Green Herons usually hunt by wading in shallow water, but occasionally they dive for deep-water prey and need to swim back to shore—probably with help from the webs between their middle and outer toes.
Posted the sketch of this earlier, but I thought the ink looked nicer, so here you are! I love dragonflies. Deadly hunters, slaughtering their prey without mercy, yet beguiling enough to somehow convince humans they are harmless as butterflies. They have their own sort of deadly, sleek beauty.
