Concept idea for an upcoming canvas, but I’m not sure if it’ll stay like this. My days have had me wondering why certain problems exist, how we could solve them and how we can prevent in the future. This particular work will be focused on racism, and I’m very excited about the amount of research I want to do. I’ve been very angry and feeling powerless lately about this subject, and I’ll hope I’ll feel more useful after this project
Nitescape. The mysterious going city across the great ocean, far away from Nornwan and far forgotten, but they have not forgotten. They still have hints of the old world in their dome of cyber charged pessimism. I haven't had time to draw in a long time because of school and other personal projects, but I recently finished this doodle. There's a color version of it that I'll upload tomorrow.
Working on inking this sketch today. I have so many sketches from finished projects, I figured they'd make good practice to refine my line work. I'm also recording another time lapse video showing this process
Costume design for a Beauty & The Beast painting project. The mask is inspired by Baroqu-era gargoyles and grotesques. Had the pleasure of this image on my phone scaring the hell out of my favorite bartender, whose voice is usually low enough to be the voice of God...usually. XD

Part of a series of four illustrations I will be posting more of, based on poems written by children. These were made for a uni project working with Grimm & Co, a charity that enables children to express themselves through writing.
For the last day of Inktober, I drew a pumpkin with black india ink on orange paper. I had never done an Inktober challenge before, and I really liked it! I'm definitely doing it next year, too. I got very good ideas for new projects, I played with different textures and colours, and I used a calligraphic pen to draw, which I had never done before and which I loved.
I just finished this for a friend. He is in construction and it seems like we're always talking philosophy and where we fit in the universe whenever we're working on a project together.
I’m coming out of another one of those periods where I’ve drew or doodled very little (all the other projects on the go until now!), but as always I got my mojo back in the nick of time, it seems. :)

Psychological projection is a defense mechanism in which an individual unconsciously attributes their own unacceptable thoughts, feelings, emotions, impulses, or traits to another person, group, animal, or object to avoid confronting them internally.
This process allows a person to manage uncomfortable emotions like guilt, shame, or anxiety by externalizing them, making it easier to tolerate the internal conflict.
First conceptualized by Sigmund Freud, projection involves displacing negative or undesirable aspects of the self onto others, thereby preserving self-esteem and avoiding internal discomfort.
While it can serve as a short-term coping strategy, unchecked projection can lead to interpersonal conflict, misunderstanding, and damage to relationships.
