One of my assignments asked me to draw a comic book cover using existing comics and manga. This was my third attempt at using ballpoint pen for a drawing, my shading tends to look odd in smaller spaces but I'm trying to work on it
Continuous single line with shadow for depth. A figure laying on back with one leg extended and the other bent in. One arm up and the other down along ground. Looking away too I suppose.
Single continuous line using shadow for depth/layers
A figure laying on their side with arm raised over eyes blocking the sun rays while soaking it all in.
Pen on lined paper, I liked the aesthetic of this, what would normally be writing by pen familiarly associated with this lined paper, is instead a loosely sketched portrait.
I'm truly proud of this work. I put a lot of heart and effort into it to make it acceptable. This digital drawing is actually for a digital art contest I recently entered. The theme is "Fantasy" and fingers crossed I win something. Thanks everyone!
When the world is full of noise and impetuous, you can try to sink your heart into the deep sea. There is silence, you are willing to talk about your story, then there will be someone willing to listen.
Various days for Inktober 2020. Coral, dizzy, and rip and dig. I had fun detailing different monsters. Dizzy is a cross between a siren and wraith, rip and dig can survive in extreme climates and hide underground for years until it's time to Fred. For the Halloween season, what better way to celebrate than to create a spooky character? This portrait was completed in Procreate and drawn for a subreddit I follow over on Reddit.
