Doodle cards printed with foil and metallic ink - year 1999! I used a desktop printer that could reproduce metallics / foils / spot UV. They don't make desktop printers like that anymore.

This is a digital drawing of four random characters. The two on the left were totally spontaneous -- meaning they didn't exist until this picture was drawn. Buddy (on the right bottom corner) is one of my recent creations and he's developed into a very loveable character. Ninjo, I've actually known for a long time. She's a crazy gal -- always chopping stuff and crashing through ceilings. Come to think of it.. she's not really like a ninja at all..! The whole purpose of this drawing was to showcase my skill areas. I'm skilled in people (both male and female), animals, and even inanimate objects.

Completely random. I was looking at a wall and saw some shapes that kinda looked a floating little hat girl...so yeah, I added details and got this.

This is a drawing of a random popstar I made up. His name is Alejandro Bolvaire and he has the voice of Danny Gokey. XD (Danny Gokey is awesome -- give him a listen sometime) Anyway, Alejandro here is mostly crayon, but his hair and shades are colored with brush pens. He has an ink pen outline. Started this with 4 or 5 random horizontal lines (drew with eyes closed). While free drawing, decided to add little eyes and faces etc. Undecided if I should color or not. Main thing is I had a lot of fun making this. (I have a bunch of time lapse videos of this spontaneous project).

After experiencing a DNA surprise/shock earlier in the year I needed to express my feelings in my artwork. Conception is a representation of how random life can be. A sence of belonging yet somehow not belonging and finally being able to link together those aspects of myself.
