The prompt word toward the end of October- ominous. Ravens are known to bring ominous news! Although that may be influenced from Game of Thrones (I miss that show!), 'Dark wings, dark words", as Old Nan used to say! Albarracín, Spain. My first time trying an urban sketching. Although it's only from a reference photo, it's a good way to practice this art technique. Line art and watercolour wash on a watercolour sketchbook. I used a Sakura Micron Pigma 5.
A long time ago In Egypt you would bury the person with some belongings you think they would benefit in their after life. A few interesting objects I chose were from a mobile, baked beans, kitkat, toothpaste, apples, gloves to a paintbrush and more. A fun artwork where egyptian hieroglyphic symbols were used.
Knights, the strongest faction in Nornwan. Known for their much vaunted military might. Without the sacrifices and bravery of the Knights, the lands would be overrun with Dragons, or bandits, or some other horrid force of darkness. The bastion of hope, despite all disagreements they have had with the Church and Wixard Factions.
That time when Tyrion and Bronn walked away from the Eyrie after winning a trial by combat. I like to think of them as a couple of misfits traveling the mountain roads passing by the knights of the Vale, Vale commoners and hill tribesmen! *I have already completed the entire Inktober- you can check it out on my IG account: @dittofunkysketch123 :D
This Illustration is a revisited self portrait. The breast on my back feed four pencils/tentacles and the color spread from the female body to the page and "travel" all around the surface. The meaning is to show the reciprocity between the artist and the manufact.
The observational sketch was done in ink. One of my few urban sketches. The grandeur of the entire cathedral was too large for me to capture in my drawing but here's a little of what I did.
What's inside my bag? well i bring point n shoot analog camera, a DSLR, pencil box (with pen, pencil and eraser inside), watercolor travel pack from Daler Rowney, mini sketchbook (i use Muji), lipstick, brush pens (Pentel). And no, i'm not bring botanical plant inside my bag, its just something i see and i directly draw it, haha.
I think I should say that I do not speak English, and I use a translator...o（ｉДｉ）o ••• I've been gone a long time. And I'm with my original character! This is Vivien Shaw, nicknamed "the prophet." He can predict the future, travel through time, and many other things, he-he! (*´▽｀)ﾉﾉ Well, what else can I say about him... Yes, perhaps there is nothing? Ah, good night to me!.. (*´﹀`*)
