A few days ago, I started a Pigma Micron pen 005 drawing of a tiger. Yesterday, I decided that it would be nice with colored pencil. I used Berol (1990's) Prismacolor, Koh-I-Noor Polycolor, Faber-Castell Polychromes colored pencils.
I took over as organizer of a Ladies Wine & Design group. Recently, I attended a grand opening of a co-working space, alone. I received some “compliments” that I’m not sure were compliments. To quote Chris Griffin: “I’m so awkward!?!”

For day 15 the inktober word was weak so I decided to approach the subject of hunting for trophies.
It is not the animal that's weak it's the human that's cruel.
A lot of species become endangered because of our need to kill. We should love and protect all the animals, not put them on walls (real or virtual) only for our pleasure and ego.
This was part of a collaboration I did with another wonderful artist over on YouTube. We picked the theme of our favourite folklore characters to draw.
There are many reference photos for iguanas on the internet. This drawing relies on three difference reference images. The drawing was done with a micron .005 pen and then coloring added with pencils. He was a lot of fun....I think there may be more iguanas or other lizards and reptiles in my future!

A fun little drawing iv been working on for a few days on and off. I wasn't sure what to fill so much negative space with but eventually decided on spider webs. lol Big thank you to Miss Betsi and her awesome Youtube tutorials on how to make these fun designs and more! I'm traveling through England ans Scotland for the next two weeks, and of course that meant I had to start a new travel sketchbook! I found it fitting that the first page shows the route I will be on.

A self-portrait: I find that I’m grasping for something that always seems to be out of my reach. I didn’t bother to enter the official competition because I don’t have access to the specific colour set that they specified in the brief. I did enjoy drawing this self portrait with a medium I would not have considered. An awesome change of pace!
