This is an older piece representing an idea that I keep coming back to. This is my second attempt. I'm still not happy with it and will probably try again.
A whimsical yet reflective scene blending humor and nostalgia. Ty Patmore transforms an ordinary tavern tabletop into a surreal narrative—where a whiskey bottle doubles as a rocket, a lighthouse watches over the horizon, and every object hums with quiet irony. Mixing ink and graphite with storytelling detail, this piece captures the playful spirit of escapism and the bittersweet comfort found in small rituals.
This drawing was done with pen and colored pencil. I wanted to create a self-portrait that could also serve as a profile picture for my art accounts. My other self-portraits tend to be realistic, so I decided to try and depict myself in my own illustrative style instead. My artistic influences for this piece include tattoo styles, pinup art, and art nouveau as well as inspiration taken from some of my favorite portrait artists, Sargent and Rockwell.
I haven't done a still life since highschool! I was finally motivated to make one after finding this black conch shell on the beach of Rimini. In the past I found one but it was broken, i feel like i've been on a healing journey and was delighted to find a complete full shell. In a way I took it as a sign of the healing graces God is pouring out on me. I also found the coral thing floating on the waves of the shore. I felt the presence of the divine through His creation that day. I picked up the other scallop shells and the red rock there too. The big snail shell I found outside the monastery, there are some big snails here! So yeah, I wasn't trying to be too precise in this still life but I wanted to jot down the idea and my thoughts from that day. Peace be with you all
Thought the best first post would be my character, Buri! She is a master starship technician, and pretty handy with fixing everything besides the bridge computers. In addition, she's the galley cook and one of two planetside survival experts on the ship. Bad news is, she sinks like a rock and is possibly the least amiable person out of the whole crew.

This one I designed when I was 7 years old,hence the silly name and simple design,but effective......I Recently stumbled upon yugioh card "ryu kishin" and really liked pose he was drawn in,so I tried to redraw my Vampis in that pose while using ink and polychromos colored pencils. I always imagined Vampis being some kind of mischeavius minion using shadows to move around doing all sort of childish pranks,like throwing rocks at windows,or setting houses on fire....it's one of the two monsters that I remember from young age and I kept redrawing him every year or so.
This critter's technically unnamed, so if you have any suggestions please comment them, I do like feedback sometimes lol. The scene is set on an eco-planet, somewhat like a zoo but more future tech-y. The ring in the sky is a sort of shield against any stray space rocks as shown. Hope you like it. I painted this with Oil on a non tumbled Rock I found from my local Mountains. An evening Autumn Scene and a slight yellow moon peeking out over the horizon.
