So I did one of these with a couple of friends over on dA, where we each sketch something then ink the lines of someone else, and digitally colour the third, and as they both chose to draw their characters I scrapped the squid-creature idea to jump on the bandwagon as well! I find backgrounds in paintings challenging so I deliberately tried to make a more complex background with this one. I sometimes have difficulty deciding when to finish and in this case maybe I overworked the background a bit too much. Still, I feel I learned a lot from the process.

This was inspired by the incredible makeup and costume done on the tv show with a little bit of embellishment on my part!

That time when Jaime Lannister has his right hand chopped off by Roose Bolton’s man, Locke. Jaime had to wear his chopped hand around his neck but when Locke and his men brought Jaime and Brienne to Roose, Roose reprimanded Locke and had Jaime’s wound bandaged and on a sling.

That time when Tyrion, Hand of the King, had to lead the troops at King’s Landing to fight against Stannis’ forces! Since King Joffrey was too cowardly! So he picked up his axe and the troops around him yelled, ‘Half-Man! Half-Man!’

Inktober 2. day Huckup or german Aufhocker, sorbisch Bubak a creature of the German folklore. An undead creature that hobs at the back of a traverer slowly draining his energy getting heavier with each step. The victim is paralyzed, suffers from anxiety and is unable to turn around, Mmm reminds a little bit about depression hu?

I was really experimenting here and not 100% original but I really love this for some inspiration and a practice round at some new ideas.

The pink flower vine butterfly is inspired by a a mailbox I walked by during my lunch break. These vibrant pink flowers were wrapped around the entire box. I thought 'what a romantic way to receive your mail.'.

Been out of the hospital for four months. Struggling to lessen the urge to self harm. Breathing meditating and purging of the negative with soft pure thoughts containing flowers surrounding every image of my heart.

Today I have seen the picture you are looking at, it made me interesting, as more people worked on it, not considering the picture as a whole, nor the work of its predecessors. Then, out of a large cardboard box, an old man came out and came to me. There were two big holes in the box, so I realized that the guy was looking at me from the box for a while. - Do you like the picture? - he asked. His eyes, red from lack of sleep, staring at me. On the old clothes he wore on himself, there was a stain of color. - I was impressed with - I said cautiously, knowing the unpredictable nature of people who deal with art - Did you do it? His face was stretched into a smile, a few teeth that he had left, flashes from the mouth cavity. - Yes - proudly erect his chicken breast an old man - Inspiration wore me all the time! Inktense blocks. This is one of a whole series of portraits I've done of people's selfies with a galaxy background. My goal with the series is to show just how beautiful and powerful and Universal selfies are. Selfies are a valuable tool in self-love and self-acceptance. We take photos of all the things we love, but so often leave ourselves out. We all struggle to accept our own skins, and often give up, but as Carl Sagan said, "We are made of starstuff," and we are all worth photographing.
