Sounds series. Pen on paper.

So I had this idea for a series; fun, whimsical paintings of pet rocks. Full of personality, sweet, make you laugh, that kind of vibe. First one I draw is this. I was so horrified by it I haven't drawn another one since. I'm not kidding; I'm actually quite upset to discover I can't draw "sweet". Or maybe it was a bad day.

Something I drew a while ago, when I decided to look for things around the house that I could draw, rather than from photos. This was the first thing I did, a pair of my brown shoes on top of a stool. There are another 3 in the series of "things around the house", which I will post at some stage in the future.

Daizies or Snowflakes it's all in your perspective, pen and india ink on paper. am pretty engrossed in this graphic, black and white nature inspired series i began a few weeks ago. There is something very soothing about doing these that leads me to believe this series is far from finished!

I'm working on a mini series in which I'm drawing some of my favorite Pokemon,Sceptile is my favorite Grass Type Pokemon, plus this drawing gave me an excuse to use several different green watercolors that I own. Patternz - Series 3. In this series I'm still sticking with the Patterned backgrounds, but this time they have been carefully chosen to compliment the chosen animal subject, rather than the human portraits of series 1 & 2.

One of my favourite series. I'm trying to strike the right balance between the abstract and the realism, and I think I try to do that through my use of colours. It's the most rewarding feeling when you use unexpected colours and they come together somehow! Acrylics, watercolour pens and posca markers.
