Nobility shows from a distance. It is not offensive to deprive ourselves of wealth; it is offensive to lose our dignity.

My husband got me the Copic 24 color manga illustrator set for Christmas. I wanted to draw a magical girl, but didn’t want to do a traditional one. So I thought of a sporty girl who hates dresses turning into a magical girl.

"English as She is Spoke" is a delightful example of incompetence and bad judgement. Jose da Fonseca and Pedro Carolina set out to write a Portuegese-English phrasebook. The only problem was that they didn't speak any English. They did know some French and armed with French-English phrasebook, dictionaries and enthusiasm they brought forth this phrasebook. Mark Twain was an early admirer of this book. "Nobody can add to the absurdity of this book, nobody can imitate it successfully, nobody can hope to produce its fellow; it is perfect, it must and will stand alone: its immortality is secure." Sore wrist makes for slow productivity. This is once again Amar and Augustine. This time in a different setting. When my hubby and I play with these characters we end up sticking them into different settings and situations just to see how they will behave and how their relationship develops under different circumstances.

Utilising oil paint. It covers the idea of not taking the opportunities when they are presented to you. The sunset and plane flying away symbolise the end of a chapter that would have been closed off.

One day on the way home from my Nana's house, I noticed that the sunset showed every color of the rainbow. It reminded me of God's promise to Noah after the great flood. As I began to draw the scene I thought about how that promise just fills the world with His love and mercy. Anyway, that was the idea for the title.

Peppermint Cookie, despite its young age, has already been named "Lead Sailor" of their crew, and they're set off to sail beyond the horizons.

I started a new job, and it's leaving no time for daily art :( . I've decided to set aside a couple hours each week, though. Last night I did a drop in to an online portrait class, and I really liked the result of one of the warmups. Maybe all efforts should be 10 min!
