shading

This is my avatar, a mix between Frankenstein, a Vampire (Mainly a Pricolici), and a Krsnik. I will eventually add shading, lighting, color, I will edit the linework and I will edit the etch marks.

Shading

A 30 minute sketch of a screwdriver. Done on printer paper using only a mechanical pencil. A highlighter for a splash of color and a Kleenex for shading.

Hi! Added some line art and changed up my style a bit. I hope you guys like it ^_^!

It’s messy, but i’m trying to do new things in my sketchbook and not worry about how “good” it looks. Im trying out new hair styles/looks and i’m working on a medium i don’t use a lot anymore (markers). I also decided to start shading using a blue and i think i really like that and will do it more often.

I did not use a reference :/ so yeah that's kind of a problem but it's ok... I used HB for the sketch, 2B for shading, and 4B for the eyebrows and eyelashes. I just noticed that I forgot to put a reflection of the lashes on the eyes...

More practice with shading and tone. The candle was definitely the most difficult and I am still not 100% happy with it.

Im still working on a drawing featuring Elvarelyn and the peasant teenagers (background included and shading,even though I hate shading)

So...I didn't feel like doing face shading today and this is how I avoided it. I actually kinda like it! Sort of giving me Harley Quinn vibes. Always open to feedback!

This is my latest project as of March 15th. It was a request from my cousin. It is based off his original photograph. As you can see, i’m just putting the base shade on it. I’ll have to add the details of the fur after the shading is dark enough

Finished this up. Not particularly a fan of Barcelona, but greatness is where it is. It’s funny, no matter how dark I make shadows and shading, I always feel I could have gone darker.

A drawing I made with a ballpoint pen. I tried shading with it this time, and it was surprisingly easy. I'm calling him Bellow.

I only used airbrush for all the colors and shading. Layers....lots of them.

I have lovingly worked into this piece, adding outlines , inner lines and some shadings ,its an freehand sketching .

A lesson in proportions

This is a little Sketch Test I've just done. I'm trying to improve how to shade color digitally without creating a huge mess, like on my "Birb" sketch. I getting there. God bless yall's day!

This is entirely made with dots (or a shading technique called Stippling)
