So some of you may be thinking.. But what does Link look like in his developing cartoony style? Well here he is! If you don't know Link, the Hero of Courage, is from a game called the Legend of Zelda. Usually on my home visit I will play as Toon Link with my friends and family when we play Super Smash Brothers. Superfun! ^_^ #Link, #Zelda, #LegendofZelda, #TwilightPrincess, #ToonLink, #Cartoon, #Sketch, #marker, #Pencil, #Legend of Zelda, #SuperSmashBros, #Nintendo

Another attempt to work on more dynamic posing, I did a series of sketches pushing the pose into something outlandish and a tad pin-uppy for my unnamed Houdini knockoff escape artist. I used a different framework technique than usual to help me along, but I'm noticing now a few errors in the final sketch as per usual :)

Island mentality.

Not a famous quote per se (as requested for this week's prompt), but my own little phrase I often think about and consider.

A tree in Florida.

A weird inspiration hit me while I was watching Broad City. "What if the dreams didn't come true?' with fairytales. So here's tinkerbell, frail, with no pixie dust, Peter ditched her to go back to the real world and she's lost the magic within.

Moria Orc profile drawing (from "Lord of the Rings") using compressed charcoal, greyscale pastels and graphite pencil on paper, (size A4).

Yesterday's challenge from my son: different versions of Batman meeting. I did this on my iPad, which I'm still learning to use for art. I don't like my figure work on the iPad as much as I do on paper, but it does make coloring easier. I'd welcome advice on using an IPad for sketching.

These beauties make my life so enjoyable! Love these girls so much.

Onwards to closure.

I know this is simpler and a quicker piece, but this is the drawing for my August journal. I started doing these back in March, with each month's drawing being based off a song. This month is "Golden Slumbers" by the Beatles, July was "Tower of Babel" by Elton John. (The pencil sketch eye I previously posted is indeed now in my journal.)

The look of shock. High contrast drawing with graphite pencil on paper, (size A5). Drawn in 2004.

A beautiful day for a walk in the park and to paint a tree.

Piece made with Watercolor pencil and black ink

Quick pencil sketch.

Compressed charcoal, willow charcoal, graphite pencil and greyscale pastels, on paper (size A3).

Batfleck

This was my first time using prismacolors! :)

Fanart of the Cleric class of Snow White from the game SINoALICE

Graphite pencil on paper (size A5).

In response to this week's drawing prompt: Instead of drawing my house, I drew the house from the movie Knives Out. The house acts almost as a character in the movie, setting the stage for one of the best murder/mystery films I've ever seen.
