I've started a fantastic Domestika Course by Ruth Wilshaw: "Painting Atmospheric Landscapes with Gouache."
It's my first attempt at gouache painting. I'm so excited to try this art medium. I've only painted with watercolors so far.

I love hilly landscapes. But I'm not good at drawing them. The one thing that I should do is practice. I have to take a sketchbook and draw/paint 100 mountains.
The trees also could be better. I failed by drawing details on this illustration.

It’s messy, but i’m trying to do new things in my sketchbook and not worry about how “good” it looks. Im trying out new hair styles/looks and i’m working on a medium i don’t use a lot anymore (markers). I also decided to start shading using a blue and i think i really like that and will do it more often.
This was a gift for a special colleague who had already worked at my school for more than 20 years. I painted her with gouache and especially her blond hair gave me a headache. I‘ve never worked with this paint before. In the background I used special paper, charcoal and acrylic markers. Inside the card is a poem about her.
One day, in the afternoon she was sitting on that seat with a thin heart. She was feeling watercolor with full brightness hitting her soul slowly. In her heart said, "what was I do? Everything is very simple, just follow the truth about my life. But, I can't do it and back anymore". I sketched this in August for the Red Book of Bashkortostan using watercolor and ink. Today I did some experiments with Illustrator and damn it looks cool
Child Jesus loves you! Jesus likes every now and then to appear in child form in order to teach us many things and relate with us. To remember to be little and rely on God our father. ^_^ He's levitating and his robe is long so you can't see his lil feet. I made this sketch awhile back but like a lot of things now I decided to color it. Digital color makes things pop!
