sketch

A little urban sketch of the view while sitting in a cafe in Karlovy Vary, CZ.

I've been on an alien kick recently. You can do so many fun things with their designs! Unfortunately, I continue to be terrible at drawing guns.

Spring is always here, streaming from my sketchbook.

...but I still love her. Marker and coloured pencil on marker paper.

Jellyfish in colored pencils in my sketchbook

This is a fun piece of art inked paintstakingly with a fountain pen. I enjoyed drawing it, loosely based on a fall pallet. As a fun side note, she has four ears.

My friend once told me: if you don't know what to draw - draw a skull, so I did

“You are not your job, so why settle?”

I was kinda bored when I drew this, so it came out in the art work. Incidentally, this guy looks a bit like a character in the nameless city series of graphic novels, which I finished reading recently. The first book is rather heavy handed, but the last two are much better by comparison.

I remember how I just started making this piece with no guidelines no measurements.. nothing. Just me looking at the reference and goin blind in the feelings. I wanted to make this piece as alive as i could..I wanted to feel his presence near me.

My brother recently got one of these types of hats and it looks really cool on him. So this a tribute to my brother and his radical hat.
