I'm rather pleased with this one. Did you know that banner bearers are actually super important? In ancient battles, they stood at the front lines and used various signals to communicate the general's orders to the troops. There was an important battle between the Greeks and Persians in 480 BC. called the battle of Thermopylae. The Greeks were outrageously outnumbered. However, when a banner bearer accidentally dropped their banner, the other bearers thought it was the signal to retreat, and dropped their banners as well. The entire Persian army was routed by the significantly smaller Greek force. So technically this lady is much more important and powerful than any flashy warrior could be.

The countryside is a place far away from the city, peaceful and cool. My hometown is also on the outskirts of the city. Every summer vacation home to visit, I enjoy a cool and fresh air. Both sides of the road are straight dikes with fields, smooth green lawns, and beautiful vast fields. In my hometown, there are bamboo and banyan trees for shade every summer afternoon. Farmers work hard to cultivate and cultivate vegetables. Young people about the same age as me, come home from school and still have to take care of buffaloes and cows. I was scared of cows when I was small and felt nothing special after I grew up, but I realized how they are cute when I traveled in Laos. I was so surprised to see cows were walking freely without any human on a quiet street in the outskirts of the city. A calf one of them looked us curiously but avoided eye contact shyly. It was really cute

I have been listening to astrophysicist's broadcasts a lot this days. Few I like the most are Joe Rogans's with Neil deGrasse Tyson, Brian Cox, Sean Carroll. They talk about obviously space, extra terrestrial life but also religion, people, psychology. I realised that when you think at cosmos level or at subatomic level, the things we worry about in day to day life feel very less compared to the vastness out there or in us. So I think it is very important to get out of the city, to find clear sky and look at the stars up there. It gives a surprising energy which I don't know how to describe but feels powerful.
