I've never been much of a cat person but I have to say that Akita helped me to appreciate cats. She is a great hunter and with take out pesky mice and she doesn't chew electronic wires. She's very nice and likes to come up to me when I go outside. But she isn't too invasive and she isn't annoying at all. She stays outside for the most part as well so the monastery doesn't smell like cat. :P I think this is probably my first drawing of a cat, I just sketched her real quick and added her eye color, she kinda looks like an artic cat like this, well she is pretty resistant to cold, lol (her normal colors are brown/black/orange/white).
I love how she is one of my easiest demon characters to draw :/ sadly I can't draw her husband yet due to being muscular and tall (I can't draw muscles with a finger).the reason why I didn't color her was because I'm saving the coloring for a video I am going to upload it another day (nobody watches them but oh well I also have fun making them too :p)
A long time ago In Egypt you would bury the person with some belongings you think they would benefit in their after life. A few interesting objects I chose were from a mobile, baked beans, kitkat, toothpaste, apples, gloves to a paintbrush and more. A fun artwork where egyptian hieroglyphic symbols were used.
Yesterday, I was drawing during the Metropolitan Opera's daily streaming. My husband, Mike came by and looked dumbfounded. "Samson and Delilah inspired THIS subject matter?" Walked off shaking his head. We have a good laugh!
Hey Everyone, since i'm new here I thought I break the ice with this little picture I made a couple of Months ago, as the picture suggests, yes I just turned 30. I been trying to get my art round in several websites, not that my work's amazing... Then I stumbled across this site and thought I give it a shot. I've always loved Hedgehogs ever since Sonic the Hedgehog. Here in Italy there are actually wild hedgehogs, when I found out I had to try and find one. Usually at night if we are driving I will be attentive to find some critters. I've seen crested porcipines, boars, badgers, weasels, owls, eagles, bats, lizards, deer and other things. But for awhile I never saw a hedgehog (one time I thought i did but that doesn't count), but finally about a year ago I finally found one while passing through the country of San Marino (it's in Italy)! It was crossing the road and it was the hugest hedgehog I have ever seen! Thanks be to God! lol. It was about the size of like a big small dog or something, probably about a foot long. So yeah I had to draw one in tribute of my weird obsession to find one, haha.
I drew him again (even though he's hard to draw) however I had fun.i like the relaxed look on his face which is rather odd since I usually draw him stony faced.
