Painting, drawing, crayoning, markering (I just made that word up)...it's always more fun when a child is involved, even when they purposefully color over a character. It adds character to the character, no?
(HB pencil on 190mm x 140mm paper) I'd avoided such social media sites up until now, but decided (reluctantly) to take the plunge after constantly being advised to. So, I did this quick drawing for the first post on there. It really says it all. If you're on Instagram, you can follow me on there. I'll gladly do the same for you: https://www.instagram.com/skavartist/
(HB pencil on 110mm x 78mm paper) When doing this form of automatic drawing, strange characters and weird objects do take shape, leaving the rest of the image as dream construct.
Happy 101st Upload! Made this because, I love Star Wars, and I found a great radio drama of New Hope, which Mark Hamill himself even participated in! Check it out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-29uKdckL4&list=WL&index=63
The Wizard is gone. The Ranger's blade has broken, but his spirit is on fire still, and he will conquer every foe in Mordor . The Ice Alf is surely out of his element in these lands of fiery doom, but he has an oath to honor to brother to captain and to king, also, there'es no way he'll be upstaged by the dwarf . The Dwarf, one victim amongst many, the difference is that he still breathes, and that is their biggest mistake.
A working page for a book i am developing about vampires. i starts with a raw ink sketch, gets scanned and i work them up on a xp pen tablet - but this is just experimental - and not final.
I'm sad that Batgirl was only featured in Batman & Robin -- not only a terrible Batman movie, but a terrible MOVIE altogether. We need more Batgirl. In the meantime, here's some elaborately shaved chest hair to hold you over.
