Sakura Pigma Micron pen and DR PH Martin Radiant Concentrated Watercolors. One side was painted, then embellished with ink, scanned into Photoshop, copied, flipped and pasted to make the two sides. (Fairly large image, so I included a couple of details.) Silly but fun to do. A little "acid" and a few hours of gazing is all you need for a profound experience. Ask me how I know.
Situational awareness is important these days. Pre-pandemic, I sometimes take my doodles to coffee shops during my lunch breaks and relax for half an hour or so by mindlessly scribbling/shading with my Bic pen. People usually leave me alone but this drawing made me realise that not everyone wants to see a man drawing a naked man. A few people took exception to my subjects’ lack of clothing and made their displeasure known by telling me. Mortal Elvarelyn is telling Erik & Abigail about her life when she was an Alceridian demon before Qasaherim exiled her whilst Bernard scowls at them at the same moment when Gerard is reading the Bible.this is actually the first drawing I worked on CSP but it took me weeks to finally finish the background since im not too keen on drawing them.I even drew a house (it's the first time in years actually)it looks shabby but then again lots of peasant houses were shabby and small.
Acrylic markers in mixed media sketchbook. This one is a bit rougher because my markers have medium sized nibs. I still enjoyed the process and the feel of the paint flowing onto the page.
I found a Gap ad in a 90s Vanity Fair magazine; the background was completely white, perfect for doodling a background on it. I also highlighted the woman's freckles and lips with a bronze Sharpie.
