Started as a doodle of a friend then I decided to have fun with it and this is its current state. Drawing on these large papers is kinda intimidating to a beginner artist like me lol. any opinions, questions, or advice would be amazing thanks..

This painting/ drawing is started in the Abstract with forms created organically. I used Acrylics and applied them liberally as you might use in watercolor techniques. I love challenging myself to create in this form, as I do in finding the figures which may form themselves in the process. I then detail the figures in a drawing style to enhance and bring it forward. Made from tracing the shadow of my hand holding my pencil. An for some reason Pearl Jam started playing in my head.

This coffee cup doodle is in honour of everyone who works or who has ever worked the night shift. For those of us who work all night and still have responsibilities that can only be dealt with during the day, sleep often seems like a luxury for those who work the day shift. Coffee is our go to comfort and caffeine kick, our best friend who we can always count on to help us through those working nights when everyone else is sleeping.

Sometimes I just start throwing lines on top of lines. Today was such a day, fusing, intermingling, and vomiting lines up onto the page. (I originally titled this "Dreams in Digital" but then I was like "no one has heard Orgy's second album but you. Please abandon this late-1990s alt-rock persona. Live in the now.")

I'm considering starting a little comic with this little guy. Prepare to never see it exist. Also, backgrounds are hard and I didn't do all that much but it looks good!

A bit on the rough side right now, since I'm just getting started (again) on watercolours. I've never painted this loosely before so this is a big step for me. Maybe I'll try a selfie again in a few months to see how I've progressed.

I have been up and down this week with my art. One day I love it and in a few days I start to hate it. Its a roller coaster I'm sick of. But inside myself I hold many universes that I try to explore with my characters. One might hold vampires, while the other might hold mermaids. While others are looking for peace, lost treasures or finding their way home.

I still remember my first zombie game was Zombies Ate My Neighbors on the Super Nintendo. I was only 7 or 8. But it was the coolest game I had ever played that young. Well, since then I have loved all zombie movies and games.

"Mask Up" by Ty Tatmore (2024) is a powerful and unsettling piece of contemporary social commentary. So Blixie started downtown with fifteen cents to buy a new hash hatchet for chopping hash. Downtown she peeped around the corner next nearest the postoffice where the Potato Face Blind Man sat with his accordion. And the old man had his legs crossed, one foot on the sidewalk, the other foot up in the air. The foot up in the air had a green rat sitting on it, tying the old man's shoestrings in knots and double knots. I get these random thoughts and ideas. When they come I need to get them out like a parasite that eats you from the inside out. But yes, this one started with the expression and body pose. I scraped the rest of her body because I didn't like it. But since I like strong females that are ready to stand and fight. The more I colored and came to close the picture, I had a thought. Sometimes inside of my head I get too many voices that talk and tell me what I am. Some are truth but some are lies. Well those voices, ARE MANY!Just like Legion, they are many. So this picture describes mental health and spiritual warfare that happens on the daily.

Got started on the classic show again and got the urge to draw out the greatest evil that ever crossed our screens. Though with the twist of showing the Great Evil in a more desolate, ruined presentation. What do you guys think?
