It seemed strange - maybe - to daydream about them while sitting under a blueberry bush, but the bird thought it made them sweeter. A cartographic representation of the experience of moving to a new city in a foreign land. This work, dubbed as 'Introspectionism', provides the viewer with a snapshot over time of the inner workings of the process of the strange becoming slowly more familiar and the foreign becoming Home.

Continuing with the doodling and just watching what emerges. I'm beginning to thoroughly enjoy this strange turn of art events in my life.

Moving away from your hometown inspires a multitude of emotions. By taking inspiration from the atmosphere that the game Life is Strange and Steven Universe creates, I hope to convey a sense of longing and nostalgia that makes us all a little more united in our loneliness.

These cats live in Bali and surf nearly every day. When they're not surfing they're eating. When they're not eating or surfing they're napping.

This was Emma Thompson in one of my favourite films, Stranger Than Fiction - she is brilliant! I used just colouring pencils in this one to try out a soft, harmonious look, on the background of blue A4 card. I quite like the relationship between the foreground and background in this piece; had the background been white, I don't think it would have worked as well.
