Pattern Study 1

Threw together this pattern study last week. Been using Posca pens since December and I'm loving how quickly they dry. I can throw together quick sketches without having to worry too much about smearing the ink as I move along.

I’m bad at hair yet I chose to attempt curls..oh the irony. What are your thoughts or critique? My main focus was shading and eyes, but feel free to leave your thoughts on this as a whole

Cute little pine tree landscapes

This was part of a bigger study I'm currently in the midst of, with landscapes, water reflections and pinetrees for miles. Any and all feedback is very much appreciated.

Horse study

After struggling with horse anatomy from photos, I finally decided to search for white horses, figuring that I would be able to see details more easily than on darker photos. It worked out well, the details were much more discernible.

I did this one in India ink and colored it with Winsor & Newton drawing inks. I love the vibrance and transparency of illustration inks, but don't use them too often because the colors are fugitive

A strict study only of a Monet landscape.

This is a reproduction study only of a very famous Monet piece. I am not selling this. I learned how to do art according to the traditional methods of studying great masterpieces. I did this in soft pastel, but the origional is done in oil I think.
