The other day I saw pictures of a Russian gala beginning of the 1900. The royalty was wearing extravagant beautiful clothing and they inspired this piece. Due to the card stock used and the subject I also decided to not use color but leave it at black, white and dark Grey. I would love feedback as I adore how it turned out. Is essence this to me was partially a study on the fashion of Russia in the 1900 as well as a chance to play around with 'colored' paper and how to use black and white to make most of what I had with me. I hope to make another piece like this again in the future, hopefully have it perhaps even more extravagant. This piece was made using. And the 5th. The lady at the left is a Scottish version of a vampire a Baobhan sith. They look almost like normal human women but have deer hoofs. They are allocated with faries so they are weak to iron. Since they are women they love to prey on men. Interestingly enough in most stories men who are willing to cheat on their wife well. 2, Summer's Over

#1 #inktober #ring “Inside of a ring or out, ain't nothing wrong with going down. It's staying down that's wrong.” ― Muhammad Ali . First one down. I was so looking forward to these...fyi...for artist (in my opinion) it seems that we enjoy the first challenge, inspiration pumping...ideas flowing... others are so supportive...then about halfway through.. we start doubting... support dwindles t the same time...ideas do not flow as easily... this is when we need support... so mid-month check in with us and wham all of us with support to continue to the end.

Graphite drawing, first life class back after summer break!

Back in May, I wanted to do the #mermaychallenge, an online event where artists draw and share their mermaid illustrations during the entire month of May. But I knew I had limited time, with everything happening that month (buying new home/moving/fixing up the old home to sell), and a fulltime job. I created Mer-Kat, a hybrid kitten/mermaid. I felt this was such a fun new character to explore. Life underwater with a feline-based personality.

I'm trying to learn Clip Studio Paint and so far, it's a dream. Sure I (still) can't do everything I do with Photoshop, but it's more affordable, great to use, has a wonderful communities of artists and did I mention affordable? I'm happy with the works I do with CSP... When I don't forgot to draw on a bigger canvas than 10x10 cm -_- bad artist.

Sometimes doodles get carried away, such as mine races like these. A lucky girl can be the main topic in the drawing.

Practice with charcoal and stippling.. still getting the hang of it. As always, thoughts/suggestions are more than welcome!
