The clutter on my drawing table.. I tend to use pencils the most, with pens a close second and sometimes brushes. This is the neat look---when everything is put away in its box. More often than not, they are a bit more scattered on the surface. Micron pen drawing.
Maybe this is about consumerism, or exploitation of resources - who knows - I don't want to be too serious. I just want to have fun - and eat tonnes and tonnes of ice-cream!
Wanted to practice with some charcoal but couldn't resist collaging it up a bit! A great way to hide mistakes (or laziness!) Tui's are NZ's most successful native bird.
Sometimes we see ourselves in a labirinth in which it's hard to make just one choice among many others and how it can affect our future. It's like going to the supermartket and seeing so many products of the same type and either you pick the same old or you just stare at them not knowing which one is the best and you waist your time reading the composition of each one to choose the one that suits you better.
The logo symbol was created with the sun, leaves, and stars. As you know the Sun is the largest source of clean energy in the world. It is eco-friendly that's why I included the sun's rays as leaves and all leaves are connected to each other like solar cells. Star comes from the name 'Loolo'. I love to come up with these mindless but interesting hard surface shapes and technical stuff. It has a meditative effect on me like drawing mandalas ^^ Inspiration comes from Tsutomu Nihei again.
Reminds me of a Buddhist proverb: Patiently I will bear harsh words as the elephant bears arrows on the battlefield. Words are powerful. They stir emotions. We are the managers of our emotions. Was initially going to try coffee painting with this one, but that clearly wasn’t happening...
Hence the mentioning of divorce here, it being my expectations being split from the reality this time around. Still, things worked out in the end!
The implementation of the project for the Akademos kindergarten in Poznań has ended. The idea behind the project was to create a jungle staircase in which children will be able to cover something new every day while walking down the corridor. Many animals, reptiles and insects are hidden in the thicket of plants. So that the number of details and small elements does not overwhelm the space, we used a black and white combination with small colorful accents, which are also to stimulate the imagination of children. Realistically painted birds are an additional decorative element, which can be a background for photo sessions.
