My original character, Yomi, has a fascination with light. These lamps you see might look familiar to you, but Yomi is among the first to discover the beauty of colored light. Today was actually such a pleasant morning! ✨ I woke up at 5 am (instead of the usual 8 am) and used the extra 3 hours for myself~ I did some sketches, wrote a page in my journal and then drew some flowers. Which led me to this, again another flower shop. First I wanted to do a night version of my older piece but soon realized it looks bad. So drew this one instead. The story continues.
I woke up at 5am(ish) last Sunday and not settling back to rest, I switched my radio on and hoped for the best. Next thing I know I’m half awake listening to one of Yo La Tengo’s more drone oriented songs. The track itself was 8 minutes long but felt longer… of course, this gave me ideas. What do you expect?

This majority of trees that surround my property are the Marri from the Myrtaceae family is endemic to this area. They grow upwards of 40 metres and are a favourite food to the protected Red-tailed Black Cockatoo.

In September 2023, inspired by memories of reforestation efforts, they exhibited a photography piece at a garden show in Kansai, expressing a strong desire to engage with reforestation through art.
In 2024, their media art was exhibited at an NFT exhibition at Kyoto Miyakomesse, continuing their exploration of the fusion of digital technology and nature in artistic expression.
