Hello everyone! This is just a sketch, a very quick sketch, but I would like advice on how to draw babies. I understand the face shape is a little different, but if anyone Is willing, I would like some help. I want to do this art work for my moms close friend, of her two kids. This will be a challenge but I would love some advice.

Re-watching the series now. Really liked the general concept, visual character design and the action scenes. It even inspired me to make an AMV about Korra >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-TIidatQrw8 It was nice and refreshing to see a (physically) strong rebellious female character, something different from a usual portrayal of female characters. However something went down the hill and I'm struggling to go past the 1st season hehe. I know, Korra and the whole series are quite controversial and I understand why, but as a female myself I was inspired by this badass female character (well, as I explained, until some point, but nonetheless). I decided to try another doodle - some inspiration behind this one - I’ve recently heard how life seems to be this constant dreadful loop, cylinder like walk, everyday the same. Life is more of a triangle, with the point of being up and down, one turn different than the next, and I guess you could say the next turn is unknown - why I left the one side blank, for your interpretation of what happens next.

The name "Mokumokuren" literally means "many eyes" or "continuous eyes". The Mokumokuren is considered by the Japanese to be one of the traditional inhabitants of haunted houses. The only way to remove the spirit from the wall is to patch up the holes in it.

Life is hard enough already without anyone else having a say in it. But when you are judged by the world so constantly, you learn to shut yourself out... you fake a smile, but deep down inside you just wanted to be appreciated...

I've been thinking about visual tension recently and making things more interesting with contrast and depth. I am learning!

I haven't uploaded in awhile, simply because I'm not doing much that's - interesting. Just lots of exercises. I did this spontaneous pen sketch of my husband the other day and was pretty pleased.

Request from @flammabledaydream The pixel on wolf is higher for some reason. I couldn’t fix that and didn’t want to re do it. I think it’s okay. If you know the story you will understand why there are tomatoes LOL.

Pencil Drawing

I was thinking about oposites and enemies and realized. Well not realized but understood that everyone has a person deep down inside, that is their alter ego. It is important to reach that sometimes. Here we are.

Pink tulips on toned tan sketch paper. This was my first time burnishing. I used the toned tan paper so that I could better see the effects of burnishing with a white pencil. I used Prismacolor soft core pencils.

So doodling is truly an obsession w me. I always try to draw w-out thot & w unabandoned freedom... so trying to draw something that doesn't exist or creating odd critter scenarios is the goal yet my wit & craft always get in the way since after seeing things unfold that i can't help but to redefine & give them a definitive humorous caption. My sense of humor is constant. So here r a few things that revealed themselves to me... There's a bullet turtle [Ironic & similar to a bullet train] There's a piece of Indian corn bread which produces popcorn bread; In the back ground is a 'full' moon [Hence the burping & a Moon Wok. I like aesthetic things but my witty mind just won't leave enough alone!

In the show The Dragon Prince there is this character named Aaravos and he is like this star creature thing. I made a distant relative, you can look up references of the actual character in the show.

This is the second edition of my snake drawing collection, the first one was titled "slipped secrets" and addressed the conveyance of information between certain parties that should not have been shared. This artwork portrays a sense of love and mutual agreement/understanding using snakes as the conceptual medium through which the action and emotion is portrayed

(HB pencil on 47mm x 80mm paper) Another of my small Guardian Spirit works, which constantly rip into the idea of guardian angels and spirit guides. An idea just about as ridiculous as alien visitations themselves. Could that be a laser weapon the alien's holding, or a portable anal probe?

This work was commissioned by a good friend of mine who struggled with substance abuse.
