“The politics of the world frustrate me. I control my frustration when I write, but it explodes when I perform.”
A quote from a Benjamin Zephaniah documentary I caught not long ago on BBC iPlayer’s been resonating with me as of late. Granted, I tend to keep politics light here (if anything) but I stand by what I’ve just said regardless.
My little Brother, Timmey, asked me to draw something scary with his red marker/pen thingy. I said okay and in 5 minutes made this monstrosity. While its not that "scary" it certainly is disturbing. Its funny how the same mind that can create such heartful and goofy images can also create at times depressing or unsettling things like this. I guess every artist can draw "Dark" stuff. They just have to try.
I hope everyone have a Merry Christmas this year. May you kiss under the mistletoe, may you mingle with loved ones, may you share wonderful memories together, may you hear joyous laughter, and most of all may you be thankful for it all
Going through a mental health journey, and created this fella. This is not the complete image, he will have bat wings and devil horns. I just hit a small wall with some of the layers. But I will have the picture complete when I can. I finally started drawing again after weeks of depression. So excited to see where this fella goes.
The second page of Steel Cloud has our heroes, Hardball and Riley with their band going on the road to perform. Little do they know they're going to have some trouble.
This is the sexiest page in an upcoming book I'm printing for Rogue Planet Books. It's a book of comics I did many years ago. I'm a bit embarrassed by some of it, but the drawings were great.
