I have always liked drawing this shape of flower petals for a long time, drawing flowers was a nice subject to draw since I’m running out of ideas yet again. I also want to try painting on different objects and not just paper and canvas.

I decided to start drawing planets on top of the Galaxy background I drew a couple days ago. I'm doing 4 planets in total and then do a big reveal later. As I continue to do this 1 a day, 365 drawing challenge I'm starting to realize that I need to have more time in the day to think of ideas and what to draw next. I went on coolers.com to think of a color scheme. I saw the colors but I could not figure out where to place them b4 the deadline, so I couldn't really use it. I need to be better than this in the future

The Golden Calf

I made my golden calf in the arbour because it was a pagan place and a circle is always a good setting for sculpture. It was very difficult to get the legs to stay upright but in the end they did and I nailed them to the socle just to make sure. Sometimes I stood still, listening for the first rumble of the wrath of God. But so far he had said nothing. His great eye just looked right down into the arbour through the hole between the tops of the spruce trees. At last I had got him to show some interest. - Sculptor's Daughter by Tove Jansson #dailydrawing #tovejansson

Eternal Fire

This is a 3D pumpkin I carved at The Phoenixville Pa. Pumpkin Festival, for the experts carver's completion. This was my first time using the clay sculpting tool to carve with. I used the wood carving tool method for about eight years. The use of the clay tool give the carver more control to be able to do more detail . the wood carving method is chiseling away the pumpkin flesh where the clay sculpting tools method you scrape way the flesh. This the second pumpkin carving contest I have participated in in less then 5 day apart. Now that I have found a method and tools that work far better than my old ones, less see if my pumpkin carving skills can catch up to my artistic skills. Written by Stephen J. Vattimo Oct 24,2015

Leave Room for Joy - Luisa Madrigal

Luisa was my favorite character in this beautiful, fun Disney animation. I drew this in Adobe Fresco in about 6 hours. Still learning the program and testing brushes. Be sure to check out the time-lapse of the drawing on my Instagram. Cheers!

Terror and Peace

The Edge of Night We are living in the days on the edge of night You can see the darkness swallowing up the light As the world of man accepts wrong for right Time is short, and it is foolish to waste it By debating with skeptics that faith in God is intellectually bright We are living in the days on the edge of night The enemy’s delusion is thick So, walk by faith and not by sight Don’t lie around sunbathing in the light We must pick up the banner of Christ And work as long as there is light! Narwhal flavours, washi tape as always and a cheeky Cymera sticker to start my current sketchbook… this one entitled “All Fishes Are Weird”. One way to kill time during delays getting back home on the train back from London yesterday!
