Ha Long Bay is a small bay on the west coast of the Gulf of Tonkin in the Northeastern Sea region of Vietnam, including the island waters of Ha Long city in Quang Ninh province.
Being the center of a large area with more or less similar elements in geology, geomorphology, landscape, climate and culture, with Bai Tu Long Bay in the northeast and Cat Ba archipelago in the southwest, Ha Long Bay is limited to an area of about 1,553 km², including 1,969 large and small islands, most of which are limestone islands, in which the core area of the bay has an area of 335 km² with a dense cluster of 775 islands. The tectonic history of the bay's limestone karst has spanned about 500 million years with very different paleo-geographical circumstances; and full karst evolution over 20 million years with a combination of factors such as thick limestone, hot and humid climate, and overall slow tectonic uplift. The combination of environment, climate, geology, geomorphology, has made Ha Long Bay become the convergence of biodiversity including tropical moist evergreen closed forest ecosystem and marine and coastal ecosystems. shoreline with many sub-ecosystems. 17 endemic plant species and about 60 endemic animal species have been discovered among thousands of flora and fauna inhabiting the bay.

I got to drop into an outdoor class with my beloved teacher from the studio. A space had finally opened up two weeks before everything in SF shut down again. Well, it was good to see her and my fellow students and be in that setting on a beautiful sunny day. I was also negotiating my next job salary and getting phone calls during class, so I wasn't entirely present. The class topic for the day was palm trees. This is in front of the De Young, another place I was so glad to have visited indoors on another afternoon before the latest lock down.
Some more stylized withered versions of the Altitone band members, Elizabeth (on the left) and Altor (on the right). Elizabeth has ears but no cameras (which are usually located somewhere on the head (look at stylized withered Preistor for context)), so she is blind. Altor has no ears but a camera (which has been broken off and now sits loose in Altor's disembodied head), so he's deaf. Before version 2 of these guys, Preistor was maroon (once again, look at stylized withered Preistor for context), Elizabeth was teal, and Altor was yellow-green (mostly yellow). I really enjoyed the Inktober challenge and this was my favorite drawing from the month. Been trying white ink for a new challenge, on grey toned paper. I've also challenged myself to draw more animals, so that's been fun. I can't remember drawing an elephant before, but my joke was that this one is ready for Coachella!
This is a singularity as seen in Heroes of the Storm. They are powerful crystals which, upon gaining one, instantly make you the Realm Lord over one of the locations in the Nexus. The particular one I drew is based off of the one the Raven Lord has claim to.
I incorrectly shaded the dimples in this peanut and couldn't recover from the mistake. I post this as a reminder that the path of success is cobbled with failures.
Something I drew for Halloween upon request from followers on social media. I really wanted to mimic that uneasy otherworldly tone the film had, but I don't think I pulled it off very well.
