Butterfly knife mixed with a crab, definitely a weird prompt, but a good chance to experiment with white ink on midtone paper.

Life Drawing #2

Thankfully attempt number 2 came out better compared to attempt number 1, thank God!. I will say that I accidently went a little ham with the ball point pen on the first object.

Stone Church in Winter

Painted original (watercolor on watercolor canvas) about 15 years ago. Wasn't satisfied and so I put away forever. Except, not forever. Have started a project of revamping old paintings that were not quite right, and that now seem salvageable. This was the first. Worked on it for a few minutes a few days a week for a few months, never going too far. Goal was to improve not recreate. Kinda having fun with this new project. Artists tend to do this, take a new tact, find a new route.

A still life i did a long time ago.

Most of the first six years of doing art, I used pencil. This took me about 10 - 12 hours of work. Most of the work was on the different tones of the tea pot.

Pencil Tone Practice

Practicing tone with different levels of pencil pressure I found very difficult to do because it requires an immense amount of patience and my hat is off to all of you who have mastered it. ⁀⊙﹏☉⁀

Agony
1/3

Some LGBTQ+ members of the community can’t openly love who they want to love, so the bars represent that barrier. The fabric, with all its complex folds and creases represents sensuality, desire and love. Love, in all its forms is a complex thing of beauty.------------- The companion piece to my previous post ‘Ecstasy.’ Agony and Ecstasy were always meant to be a diptych. The issue for me is that there is a two-year gap between the completion of the two - there is a noticeable difference in the the way both were drawn. More practice with shading and tone. The candle was definitely the most difficult and I am still not 100% happy with it.

Liz Cats character concept art (extras, non canon)

I had so much fun drawing the concept art for the Liz Cat's crew, that I decided to make all the other Altitone animatronics (including a smaller Dellusion) as these more kid-friendly designs! They aren't quite canon, though, because the real Liz Cat's cast only had five animatronics: Elizabeth, Preistor, Altor, Lexibo, and Dexter. Drawn with FireAlpaca.

Daler Rowney and Winsor Newton do a watercolour called Sepia. I absolutely love the tone of the Rowney one and had a play with it here. I'd really like to do a proper sepia painting some day.

Liz Cats Stage Teaser

I think I've finally come up with a design for the Altitone crew that is actually appealing to children. All the previous designs had always looked like nightmares: no eyes, sharp teeth, faceplates, and most of all; they were all white --- and not all cats, rabbits, and bears are white. So, I needed to make them resemble animals a little more. And I did! I'm certainly going to keep revising these designs, though. But for now, I introduce you to the V1 Liz Cat's band! This restaurant chain will probably be the one that I'd make a FNaF fangame out of. Drawn with FireAlpaca.

M Capturer, Fixed

The M capturer before Jester had a mental breakdown. It's basically just a recolored Springlocker, a suit which looks like an Altitone animatronic, but hollowed out so a person could fit in. It has a full range of movements, and a voice changer, but it doesn't have a voice vix or anything like that. Drawn with FireAlpaca.

Meet the Zeros Altitone Band!

As a small animatronic branch, BaileyTainment gained the rights to use Ringmaster's Altitone band members as their own. So, they altered some of the characters and created their own chain of the Altitone Band: Zero Days Until the Party. These are the band members of that restaurant: Elizabeth the singer, Preistor the guitarist, Lexibo the pianist, Altor the drummer, and Dexter the DJ. A cat, a rabbit, elephant, bear, and racoon. I got inspiration from The Wolf Pack 5 --- a singer, a drummer, pianist, and a guitarist. The DJ thing is sort of its own thing, but inspiration could also be drawn from Rolfe DeWolfe (who was a comedian in The Rock-afire Explosion). Drawn with FireAlpaca.

Plush Withered Preistor

A plush version of withered Preistor. He's probably my favorite character... though, that might be because of the withering part of him, which was inspired by withered Bonnie.
