It's been a while since I upload something here. I have been trying so many different things; for example, I try to think with other art elements other than lines. I am doing a self-exploration project #1111daysofart since July 1st, where I will do something art-related every day, which inspired me, big or small. It is a long way, and I hope I will make it :D
hello☺️✨ one day my mum and i drove around and we found a place with some old cars, busses and caravans. absolutly fell in love with them. we took some photos there and when i came home, i really wanted to draw them. so, i started drawing and it was so much fun. this drawing was inspired of one of those lovely cars we saw then. wish you a wonderful day!
It’s been raining all day so I felt like taking a party wagon to the beach and catching some good vibes! This is based on a 1960 Volkswagen Transporter.
My latest illustration! I recreated my character Okimoto Manami (a computer graphics piece back in 2013) in a traditional Japanese setting. She is in a traditional house overlooking a garden that has a pond, a cherry blossom tree and a flower bush. She also has Ikebana (flower arrangement) peony piece near her. Theres also peony designs on her kimono.The kind of kimono she’s wearing is a furisode.I have advanced quite a bit in the past eight years and I prefer using traditional mediums these days! Colored pencils used: Caran d’ache luminance, Posca colored pencils, Faber Castell polychromos, etc..
(I had gotten some new fine-point pens last week, and I figured this was a good way to test them out.) Two very different things have been on my mind lately, maybe there's a connection? I think it's interesting how it's taken me 4 years to figure something out, become comfortable enough to open up to others about it, and then embrace it. Yet it's like living a double life, being authentic to some and keeping secrets from others. On the other hand, to the person receiving this drawing, I know I can't do anything to change the situation even though I wish I could. All I can say is I'm forever grateful for all you do, and I truly hope you decide to take advantage of all the opportunities coming your way.

This is a quick study of a work by the famous painter from New York. I need to improve my art because at the moment I am not turning out good pieces.You know, we never see the early art that the great artists did. I am not critising the famous artists for their early work, but the public never see the progress that Van Gogh or Picasso made in their early years. It gives the impression that they just sarted out as great artists, which is not the case.I did this study purely as an educational endevor.

I've finally redrawn my profile picture! Except, my actual profile picture will be magenta instead of blue. This design still isn't canon, but I haven't found the motivation to redraw the entirety of the Ringmaster's crew. My last attempt was with the advanced version of Elizabeth, and the unfinhed Preistor, but they take so long to make --- and that's why Preistor goes unfinished. The reason they take so long is because I also sculpt the endo inside of them, in which the 2.5 versions didn't have an endo, and the joints and such were put in after I had drawn ths shell. This drawing, with a bit of watercolour, was done years ago in North Vancouver during a figure drawing session. Probably 15 - 20 minutes. Watercolour, subtly employed, can have wonderful affects. The challenge of working fast forced me to ditch excess thinking. And it's funny, because at first I thought, "Oh, this is terrible." Then the next day, with fresh eyes, or checking out the drawing in a mirror, I think, "Wow! How did I not see how good this is?" Never throw out your artwork immediately after a drawing session. Give them a few days and look at your work with fresh eyes.
