love the go with the flow doodle mentality. I call it "Randomness". It's a great practice to help you start and gives a great feeling of complete freedom, and that's what doodlin' for me mostly is about. I sometimes use this randomness to create peace of mind, new ideas, creative flow, clearity, vision, dreams or great art! :)

Here are several steps in the process of making a particularly complex pattern and some color variations.

When Rebelle 3 by Escape Motions came out I wanted to create something that really shows off its power. I normally draw in fountain pen first, but this was created entirely from scratch in Rebelle 3. Digital art tends to be cold and impersonal, but Rebelle's watercolor simulation looks & feels like real paint... and you can undo! That's critical for illustration work, as clients often request changes... But even for personal work- it means an artist can achieve a watercolor look without being at the mercy of the medium. So the result is more true to his or her vision.

The Dragons Pearl Story - this is one of 12 illustrations created for the story: A Dragons Pearl. This scene depicts the nasty theives from a nearby village trying to steal the pearl from Mother and son. The son is about to swallow the pearl to stop the theives from stealing it....

It’s simmering with people ready to spew their most bigoted thoughts in the name of edginess/independence from the norm. This is my friend "shar" that is always there for me as a child in Africa living in those round huts. I could talk to him, share my moments of joy, sorrows, pain, and confusion. Anywhere I go he is always there with me, he is my angel.

I took a screenshot of Rap Monster for the MV of Fake Love. there's a series of screenshots i took to paint of the members in the video.

I drew scribbles with my left hand, then drew what I thought they might be on top. This spread has a weird, lopsided vibe that I kind of like.

This was done from one of the upper floors of the building I work in here in downtown Miami.
