This, not very ferocious fellow, was my social distancing Easter weekend project that I finished yesterday. A colored pencil drawing on Strathmore 400 colored pencil pad with several different wax and oil colored pencils.
This is my uncles young blood hound. Her name is Rusty Rolls. She actually looks nothing like a typical bloodhound. She is a shiny rusty color with white paws and a few other white markings. She was the only one in her litter that looks this was and one of the most unique dogs i’ve ever seen
It's never been my practice to stick pins into insects and collect them that way, but drawing them is quite appealing. These are created with Prismacolor pencils and a Micron pen.
Annuals are encouraged to seed in the less formal beds in our large garden.
We tend them, photograph them, and I draw and paint them. This is a colored pencil (Prismacolor) drawing of one of our seedling poppies. It was an odd form. Not exactly a single, nor a double and lacked the common cross markings in the throat.

So you remember a couple days ago, when I made that paper doll, and I said I'd post a picture of her in her clothes? Yeah, well, I lied. I made a new OC, and I was just too excited not to post them. Their name is Kawehi (which you might have already guessed from the title) and I would have drawn their dragon, Silver, with them, but I unfortunately can't draw dragons. I drew and inked them on paper and then colored them digitally, since I have a pitifully small selection of markers.
Hi there, I wanted to uploade this art work as the quarantine quarter submission.. But due to my harsh luck the time was out...and I was late by 2-3mins...I was extremely sad about it but then thought to upload it on my profile only...so this is basically a drawing of me and my family enjoying time in this quarantine period :) and please please please tell any kind of lack in my this drawing... The silver lining of this shelter in place is my daily afternoon walk to put my son down for a nap in his stroller. In our previously scheduled life, he would fall asleep on the drive home from school. These are non native eucalyptus and my beloved favorite tree, a Monterey pine, on a shady side trail of Golden Gate Park.
So I did one of these with a couple of friends over on dA, where we each sketch something then ink the lines of someone else, and digitally colour the third, and as they both chose to draw their characters I scrapped the squid-creature idea to jump on the bandwagon as well! I need no excuses to draw Verus

Finally done! I worked on this for most of the evening and well into the night yesterday. I was so excited to finish it. I did stencil in the letters, but it took so long to paint them in. I bought the board a couple days ago at Hobby Lobby and finished the sign around about 10 minutes ago. Let me know what you think in the comments. (I am aware that the girls foot isn’t hanging down. I’m kinda leaning towards leaving it the way it is.)
A moody, very busy day. I did an ink wash of the beach today, but I'm posting the last piece I drew in the studio instead. I miss the studio and friends there.
