I don't know what the fuck I just made I was trying to draw a cookie but the reference that I had had a lot of like different cracks in it I wasn't familiar with. I was doing draw a box earlier in 2021 but I stopped doing it because I started getting into my head I started doubting myself I was like why am I just trying to seriously draw now at 27, why did I go to school for 6 years to get a 4 year art degree, why is my art is not at the level I want it to be compared to all my classmates; these are all reasons why I'm doing this 365 challenge and I should remind myself that all the fucking time. I'm also going back to work for the next 4 days and work takes all of my energy to do art. Tomorrow marks 20 days of doing this, I'm proud of that.

I originally had something else planned to draw today but I have to let the gesso dry for 24 hours before I can do anything on the board, so instead I decided to do something simple today and just draw a flower using a pen and ink crosshatch style that I found online that I thought was really cool

that feeling when somebody's watching you... either secretly or you actually know about it.

I was gonna give them clothes, but they sucked so bad I just left them naked.

Here on this acrylic/ink on canvas piece, you can see a Loupee realizing that it truly, in fact, is very ugly. Actually so ugly, that it began to melt its surrounding reality causing its shadow to lose its true vibrancy. All it wanted was to see was its pupils. No one can relate to this situation any better than you can.

We just finished reviewing The Avengers for the holiday weekend... Captain America is a truly magnificent man. But you know who else is amazing? Chris Evans! He’s gonna be the voice of Buzz Lightyear this year, and we’re looking forward to it.

have to be honest...I'm not a fan of cutesy characters I prefer cold,sarcastic,scornful characters like Ruthleen,Parslip,Elveridrel,snidecious and Morrison.but clemence is the exception because her cuteness never favors her because she's not taken seriously as a person (because she's pink and fluffy,like real cotton candy)anyway Clemence was supposed to be a partly humanoid candy person but since it didn't suit her personality(clever,hard working,hopeful)well I changed her to a humanoid instead.she was timid and clumsy in her original look and she was taller 6'0.again these are old sketches I completely forgot about,

For the new year I am doing the 365 challenge drawing SOMETHING EVERYDAY but on day 3. I wanted to do something with paint and tape but it did not come out the way I wanted but that's what happens when trying something new.

It's easy to forget the importance of our plants. That is until their life depends on it! I think we have one that needs watering, but then again, maybe it's just thirsty because of those potting supplies and fertilizers! Happy feast of St. John of the Cross, one of the doctors of the church. Well known for his work on the "Dark night of the Soul" which is different than "Spiritual Desolation" that St. Ignatius talks about. We all have our crosses to bear but we don't always see the fruit. It's a fitting day for me as I got a big cross today but with God's grace I can support it. Had an unfinished doodle of green trees sitting in my Procreate Gallery when I was asked to submit a Christmas card to our draw group. Some quick modifications to the green trees and the result.

Happy Feast of Our Lady of Loreto! This is the Holy Family of Loreto or should I say Nazareth. The very house of Nazareth was taken up and brought to Loreto long ago. The walls are so sanctified and even hover an inch above the foundation by some miracle. I'm about to do a retreat there so pray for me! Loosely inspired while playing a game Far Cry 4. I like the environment of the high mountains, the Himalayas, and Buddhism and Hindu art references. The bell is cracked like the Liberty Bell, which always reminds me of Leonard Cohen lyric "There is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in."

Lavender flowers represent purity, silence, devotion, serenity, grace, and calmness. Purple is the color of royalty and speaks of elegance, refinement, and luxury, too. The color is also associated with the crown chakra, which is the energy center associated with a higher purpose and spiritual connectivity.

My drawings lately have been more pixelated because I've been drawing on a different software than usual. I've been drawing on aggie.io with my friend, which is where I do most of my drawings because I am otherwise unmotivated. This will be changing soon! I got a new computer with a TV for a monitor! It's way easier to draw and runs much faster.

Sometimes I feel like I can only do the little things with great love because when you suffer from depression (did you know she suffered from it too?) the little things become great heroic acts for you to do! Yet to the outsider, they say, well he is doing nothing. However it's the greatest thing! I must decrease and Christ must increase. I am nothing and God is the one who is All. So when I do my little nothing things but I do them with and in Christ they become resplendent! In the divine will those little things become divine acts that will shine for us in Heaven! I was able to find 6b and 8b 2mm leads. So I bought 2 more NIC PRO 2 mm lead holders. They arrived from Amazon today. I wanted to add more tonal depth...but I am not too sure it worked out the way I thought it would. I still need to tighten things up.
