I'm usually bad at portraits or drawing faces in general so I decided to practice a bit more and this was the result of my first serious attempt at a portrait drawing using graphite pencils and black fineliners
Henry made a delicious chocolate cake for his friend & went berry picking so he could top the cake with the sweetest and juiciest berries. The only problem was the berries were so delicious and he couldn't help nibbling them off the tree !
I haven't uploaded in awhile, simply because I'm not doing much that's - interesting. Just lots of exercises. I did this spontaneous pen sketch of my husband the other day and was pretty pleased.

I decided to illustrated a picture of @justinhofman published in Sept 19 of 2017 in @natgeo about the pollution and how animals are suffering for our ways of using plastic. This seahorse was captured in the waters of Sumbawa Besar, Indonesia. “The art of pollution”.
Just something random I decided to do giving myself a break from the regular studies. I like the way the background came out as it gives off kind of a weird static or "noise" like from old movie reels lol
So I wanted to pay tribute to my amazing friends who get me through each and every day. Most of them don’t know I did this, they are more cartoony versions of each person. I love them so much.
So why didn't Empress Electric make it back from their first tour? The answer is simple. The daffodils. Without Gale to tend to them, to keep the Jagged at bay, it began to wake up. Inspired by a little rabbit I've seen from the car one morning. While I was driving, the little bunny was hopping along the countryside. I was a a very peaceful and happy scene, the little guy living in its own little world, of which I only could get this one quick glimpse. All the other details remain to imagination.....
