I know this might not look very nicely finished, but it was my first time trying procreate to draw something.

Another watercolor I made from observation. This is a quiet place near my father's home, where I use to go with my friends when I was a child. I am painting those in a 5x8 very convenient moleskin watercolor book. I previously eyeballed the dimensions of this book at 4x6 when I had no ruler to verify but I was slightly wrong. Now the info is exact. :)

Another little fox drawing. I loved the reference picture and wanted draw a smiling fox. Even was the first time I tried to draw the nice fure... red, orange, yellow, brown, mahogany makes the wonderful red fure which I do love.

Painted as my final project for my Painting Environments course. I was super nervous about tackling this one, but learned a ton taking this course. This is my first full landscape project that I painted for a skillshare course. It was frustrating at times but I really enjoyed working through the multiple steps of this painting. I wanted to see what I could do it I pushed myself and I am happy with the final painting. I need to focus some more study on trees in the future, I like how the foreground tree came out, the forest edge was much more difficult. I let the chickens and the roosters out to have their daily walk. I need to keep an eye on them, there might be foxes around. The raspberries had ripened, and needed to be collected before they rotted on the branch. The stork flew by, and sat on the roof of the abandoned house nearby. The storks live next-doors, quite lovely neighbors. He was watching the chickens with me.

This was my submission for the Doodle Addicts ‘Doodle Caravan’ competition in 2019. Some real world characters also made it in there. Try and spot Kerby Rosanes, Mr. Doodle and Mr. Bingo!

I was gifted a pad of Yupo watercolor paper. The color vibrancy is unreal! Definitely a learning curb but the results are so fun. Plus this got me painting again. Working digital is such an easy fall back, but nothing beats a brush to paper.

For day18 the inktober word was bottle so this is quite simple. Let's recycle plastic bottles so we won't get buried in them.

For day 15 the inktober word was weak so I decided to approach the subject of hunting for trophies. It is not the animal that's weak it's the human that's cruel. A lot of species become endangered because of our need to kill. We should love and protect all the animals, not put them on walls (real or virtual) only for our pleasure and ego.

the next piece for #inktober environmental issues series continues with #day10 word #flowing. It's quite hard to correlate a situation with a word, but this is how flowing and plastic waste ended up looking like. How much plastic waste do I produce in a day? In a week? How about a year? Nature is full of plastic waste and is overflowing everywhere. In the rivers, seas and oceans... Next time they ask you at the supermarket if you need a plastic bag, think again...

I've combined Inktober and Drawlloween to create a bunch of big ink-wash paintings of horror themes. I'm really excited about these!!! I can't wait to have 31!

Patternz - series 2

This was done for my first Scrawlr Box challenge. Which I was super excited to finally get to try, and I loved the supplies that were in the box. I am really happy with how this has turned out, it brings the two things I really like together; deer antlers and flowers.

The Manchester Moleskine project sent me one of their custom Moleskines as a winner in one of their contests. It was a grid Moleskine so I asked them what I should draw on the first page, and they suggested the word 'Inspire'. www.lorriewhittington.co.

This was my final project for the "Portrait Sketchbooking" course by Gabriela Niko on Domestika.

This drawing is made with prismacolor pencils and it was super fun to draw. I hope you like it.
