I love basketry and this Indian birdhouse sent to me by a friend thrills my heart! Mostly inks, not watercolor.... https://dkatiepowellart.me/

A flock of pelicans with their beaks open waiting for fishermen to throw out tasty morsels. I drew this from a photo I took last month, from a coastal vacation. India Inks and watercolours.

Pemaquid Point Lighthouse in Maine

Had this joke in my head for days, had to doodle it out so it would shut up! Pen and watercolour, 5x4".

Doodle in my Moleskine sketchbook. Alien planet with tentacles with doodle flowers and a purple background in watercolor.

I was painting the bird I saw after a Sunday stroll on the waterfront.

"my yellow skirt" - watercolors

"Potato digger", watercolour and ink on paper, 210mm x 148mm(A5). Tiny painting made on my break from a bigger project I'm working on. The whole thing sprouted from a sketch of my small potato plant. Anyone else feels sorry for their patatoes when they sprout too much and plants them? The plants are so pretty, too!

Still working on updating my cat style. I liked how this guy's fur turned out. I find the sketching part the hardest, it seems so easy to mess up the cat at that part.
