Inktober 2020, day 9: "Throw". The idea is kind of nicked from Avarre, an old friend on deviantart, who did a similar image many moons ago (https://www.deviantart.com/avarre/art/Syntax-Error-14749038). But hey, at least, I’m crediting ;)

Based on a concept for an upcoming indie metroidvania game inspired by Shadow of the Beast ! The following is by MegaJeff1989 (From DeviantArt) . . . . This will be a non-profit high quality free to download Samurai Jack fan game based on Episode XXXI: Jack and the Scarab . that will take place in it's own continuity separate from SJ's with no mention or appearance of Jack, Aku, or any other characters except the ones from the episode. The characters don't exist in this adaption. It will be it's own self contained story. The story is that the Minion of Set who is the protagonist was once a human Egyptian prince who was kidnapped by worshippers of Set and given him to their god along with other children, a dark ritual commenced where they were transformed into his strongest minions to wreak chaos and destruction upon Egypt. The protagonist regains his human mind after fatally injuring the pharaoh who was his father but the pharaoh has completed a ritual to imprison him and the other minions in a tomb where they'll stay forever. He vows vengeance upon Set and he awaits the day that somebody frees them from their prison so he can carry it out.

Not nice. Not happy. An unhappy ending to an unhappy and struggling world. we tried . Now we have been given Illoniri, we start over, and this time the people are different, not just human, but elves and orcs, and people made of candy . Hope starts when we give up hopelessness and embrace new. Don't ask yourself which of these last people you may be . Just ask yourself if you want a better world than this. It really isn't about becoming someone, but finding out who you really are. Bloom .

I decided to go freestyle today and sketched 2 of my favorite characters from an anime I love, as a whole heart. I guess you could say that I "ship" these two together, so I was given the passion to make this, today. I hope one day I could do half and half as humans, rather than hearts, one day.

It's not quite September yet, but I finished my bullet journal sketch for next month a few minutes ago. "Come Down in Time" by Elton John, the second song on the first side of 'Tumbleweed Connection.' I'm not sure what to expect with the starting of school, with senior year as a whole, and what the end of 2020 or 2021 will bring. It feels like I'm hearing all this static and incomprehensible noise, but I open my eyes and see nothing else there, simply a dark open space.

Not the most accurate depiction, as there were still trees, nature and green... however, the Old World was becoming more and more technologically advanced as time pushed onward . We hear tales that they called this planet Earth. It is Illoniri now. And I will not let her fall the same way as that Old World.

Mighty satellites crashed to Earth. Oceans swallowed up the lands. The World became new . Planet Earth became Illoniri . The people who were not crushed, tried their best to survive, and they did . But what was that like? Living in a world where everything has been taken from you ? Everything but your own life ? No communication, except with the people right next to you. Your own friends and family mutating and changing before your very eyes. Imagine ... gaining magical powers, riding strange and fantastic beasts, forging your own destiny from the ruins of the old world. Exploring the world you thought you knew. A beautiful and pure and young world, born of the ashes of the old one . What will we do to protect this new Earth? What lengths will we go to ? How can we keep our Mother Illoniri safe from evil ? I will fight . We all must fight. We cannot chance our world to be destroyed a second time. But maybe... maybe we don't have to fight? Maybe the reason Earth died and became Illoniri is because all we ever do is fight ? Is the answer so simple? Have humility and understanding, and we may all live? Keeping peace is easier said than done . Maybe we all just need to be kind and our Illoniri will be saved? Only time will tell... Until there is peace, we venture onward. Ever onward, my Untitled Heroes. Ever.

It's Our Lady of Amercia! It's one of my favorite devotions to Our Blessed Mama in Christ. She called the United States to Purity and a good Family life. The messages also focused on a devotion to the Holy Family (Earthly Trinity) and a focus on the Trinitarian Indwelling (Since the Holy Spirit cannot be separated from the Father and the Son it goes to show that the whole Trinity has a part in our interior life). I made this with watercolor, a touch of white/tan acrylics and a lil black pen dab for the pupils. I took inspiration from a group of artists who created a similar image but I decided to place my own spin on it by having henna like designs across the hands.

This was inspired by portraits from the 1920's. I've read that some girls who adopted the flapper style only wore one earring because their hair covered the other ear.

ya'know, i make more than a few of these, numbers aren't so important, this guy is just another living being who has lost their way. They're chosen to turn away from the gods and civilized society and toward hell, evil, anarchy, death, and other misdeeds. We all fall, but some of us don't get back up, we just linger in our darkness and drag others down to us. It is truly an ugly thing, with many remedies, however, some of them are far too fatal to speak of here ...

Here it is! The 4th Glorious Mystery: The Assumption of Our Blessed Mama, Body and Soul, into Heaven. I studied some icons on the dormition of our lady in order to get some ideas for this one. In the Icons Jesus is holding the Soul of Our Lady. Just as she bore him and held Him as a child so now Jesus holds her and brings her into heaven. Then you can see her assumed body above. Oh and according to ancient tradition all the apostles were brought together for this event. "Henceforth all generations will call me blessed; for he who is mighty has done great things for me" (Lk 1:48-49). "The Most Blessed Virgin Mary, when the course of her earthly life was completed, was taken up body and soul into the glory of heaven, where she already shares in the glory of her Son's Resurrection, anticipating the resurrection of all members of his Body" (CCC, 974). This is number 8, out of 9 illustraitions. This illustration portrays Jesus after he dies on the cross. Biblical reference : Mark 15 : 33-39 33 At noon, darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon. 34 And at three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”).[b] 35 When some of those standing near heard this, they said, “Listen, he’s calling Elijah.” 36 Someone ran, filled a sponge with wine vinegar, put it on a staff, and offered it to Jesus to drink. “Now leave him alone. I t is my opinion that Mel Gibson’s portrayal of the brutality the Roman soldier inflicted on the body of Jesus, through the beatings and the 39 lashes with the cat of nine tails. This event was never visually captured in arts, until he made his movie The Passion of the Christ. Many don’t know what a cat of nine tales is, Roman style. A cat of nine tails are nine leather strap that are woven together at the handle. Each strap is laced with bone and other sharp objects. With each lash, flesh would be ripped from the victim’s body. Most of the illustration I have seen of the crucifixion of Jesus where quite sterile. They fail to illustrate the brutality. Their image of Jesus looks more like an under wear modal doing a photo shoot fore GQ magazine, Then the savor having the wrath of God being pored on his body for the payment of our sins. In this painting, I am place my viewer in the soldiers shoes, who just witnessed Jesus committing His spirit into God’s hands.
