The hair needs some work before I can say that this is finished. It's the only part that I'm not happy with.
Edit: I fixed the hair but made the face worse, and ended up ruining the painting. So. There you go.

I keep painting on my sketch pad and not watercolour paper, which means the paper warps when drying. Hence the face being slightly wobbly.
decided to redesign her a little,she's a tad darker now,her face is oval with a square-ish chin while her sister's face shape is circular and very round,she's not as stick thin as before and lastly,her eyes.ive come to realize that you don't need big eyes to be expressive,the big eyes did not really fit her,so i made them smaller which i really like since she still looks like herself.this will be a reference sheet that I might never finish.
A pair of Ukrainian Easter eggs I've made. My designs are not especially traditional and are instead inspired by old wood cut art. The first egg features a musician playing a bandura and the second has 4 pictures, fish, forest, wheat and mountains. The eggs are made using beeswax applied with a metal tool called a Kistka (heated via a candle or electricity) you draw on the egg wherever you want to preserve its current colour before putting it into a dye bath working from the lightest colours to the darkest. When you have finished you remove the wax using a candle a paper towel and a little patience. heating and wiping away. then you can blow out your egg by making a hole in its top and bottom, smashing the yolk with a needle and blowing. These eggs are a couple of years old but we've pulled them out for easter last weekend.
I don't know what the fuck I just made I was trying to draw a cookie but the reference that I had had a lot of like different cracks in it I wasn't familiar with. I was doing draw a box earlier in 2021 but I stopped doing it because I started getting into my head I started doubting myself I was like why am I just trying to seriously draw now at 27, why did I go to school for 6 years to get a 4 year art degree, why is my art is not at the level I want it to be compared to all my classmates; these are all reasons why I'm doing this 365 challenge and I should remind myself that all the fucking time. I'm also going back to work for the next 4 days and work takes all of my energy to do art. Tomorrow marks 20 days of doing this, I'm proud of that.
I originally had something else planned to draw today but I have to let the gesso dry for 24 hours before I can do anything on the board, so instead I decided to do something simple today and just draw a flower using a pen and ink crosshatch style that I found online that I thought was really cool
I painted the galaxy across 4 5x5 gessoboards . Im hoping to add something to each square for a later picture. I always wanted to draw space but it's harder to do than I thought I'm hoping to do it again in the future.

The entity in the picture is sort of like a grim reaper, except not. At the end of your life, you will find yourself in an eternal plane of nothingness. You encounter him; and you are presented with two options: to either accept your fate and have your memory wiped, as you are reincarnated, or you are able to have your soul taken out of your very body, have it turned into an orb, and you can stay for as long as you want until you are ready to go: hence, "Stay for Nothing." I started this last night during my ArtShare on my Discord. At first, he looked like a generic wolf character, but then I got silly and decided to redraw him as a tiger, which added like 3 hours, since I'd never drawn a realistic tiger head. I also didn't use a reference for the snake, so I understand if it's not quite right. I will upload a version with dark shadows soon. I began drawing this in response to watching the title sequence to an 80's cartoon, "The Get Along Gang." Do with that information what you will :D.
I drew this up pretty quickly on a whim. I don't know what the story behind this is, what either of those creatures are called, or who that lady is. All I know is that the snail creature should be voiced by Tom Hiddleston
Ive been so occupied with myself that im so way behind with everything (including drawing)ive been practicing animating too.I don't stylize my OCS at all because I have no idea why.I was inspired by the bratz to draw adely like this (big head small body big eyes and big feet)might change her pose and draw nelsy (new name) next to her.
