This coffee cup doodle is in honour of everyone who works or who has ever worked the night shift. For those of us who work all night and still have responsibilities that can only be dealt with during the day, sleep often seems like a luxury for those who work the day shift. Coffee is our go to comfort and caffeine kick, our best friend who we can always count on to help us through those working nights when everyone else is sleeping.
Lately, I have been working primarily on the computer to wrap up a coloring book that I just published. I've decided to make August about focusing on my sketchbook and discover some new things. I don't really have a direction in mind other than to tackle

Not a beautiful work of art I know. I hope I paint better. But 70 hours of my life made from materials and techniques utilized by those who crossed our nation in covered wagons. I made this for the Episcopal Church in Prestonsberg. The bishop is retiring and 36 Churches in Eastern Kentucky are all making quilt squares for a quilt for him. The material is doubled so it insulates well.
