hi! I'm uploading this as my first sketch with my character here just to introduce myself. I want to have a small place for daily sketches and I hope this website will work just fine for that.

Copic markers, polychromos and white Signo pen. Reference photo: Robert Owen-Wahl at Pixabay

Another installment in my mushroom headed people series. Based on a mushroom image my friend sent me.

Most of my work is water themed nowadays , I live on the lake and many of my artworks have been influenced by East Bayfront Waterfront Toronto.

i actually really like this almost-Viking girl .... Coming soon to TAPAS ! https://tapas.io/series/Orki-n-friends

Watercolor and ink pens

2nd attempt at a shroom head. I felt a lot of hats from 1950’s fashion actually look like mushroom caps.

Fineliners used for this little lizard I drew for my daughter at her request

This is just an idea I'm playing with after I recently reconnected with an old friend. He's a painter but has this huge passion for mushroom collecting. I have few more ideas for a little series now.

A request from my son.

"Dark Thoughts" is one of my favorites

Inspired by autumn, the occult and secret societies.

The Soul Harvest The Soul Harvest is done in a surrealistic style and is spiritual in content. This painting illustrates the world as being a field filled with souls from every corner of the earth needing to be saved from eternal death, which is the punishment for sin. But by hearing and understanding and receiving the good news, through faith in Jesus’s death for the sin of man, man can be forgiven and have eternal life with God. The farm tools leaning against the fence are an invitation to those who know Jesus to pick up their God-given talents and go into the world and use them to spread the good news. The inside of the barn, with the wheat sheaths standing up, illustrates the souls that have received eternal life through the work of the believer, and the crown is their reward from God. Pet portraits are my side hustle …this is one of my faves…Prismacolor pencils

Quick sketchbook portrait of Yolanda. Bic4 Ballpoint Pen, Yellow Micron pen on Archival 9” x 12” paper.

Brambles are lovely to sit in amongst the bees. And also they make a good shelter from the rain. https://www.instagram.com/p/CSpMKfXr00y/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

I did the water texture according to a tutorial by James Chapman, found on Instagram. The steampunk seahorse was an idea from a lady I am following on Instagram as well (look for @carrieisartsy) This piece is done on a paint chip card with poscapens, a gold marker and fineliners.

July 2021. Graphite Drawing

is it ok to use pencil for outlining the shape?

One of my first doodles using my new Micra fineliners.

From my new poster series.

One of my first pet portraits done for a friend …Prismacolor pencils were used
